Brahma Niwas - Best Lake View Hotel in Udaipur

My apologies it has taken so long to write this review, returning to home life just got busy. But in writing this I just wanted to say I did not want to let go of the opportunity to write a review, because I think this Hotel deserves it 100%. Upon our arrival from Jaipur with our driver, the check in was very easy (I had booked a couple of months before from Australia). All the staff through out our stay were so friendly and professional. The reception, bedroom and dining areas were extremely clean. We ate at all breakfast services and three dinners whilst staying at this Hotel - the food was exceptionally delicious - cooked for Indian tastes and we were thrilled for this as the thought of eating conservative westerner food when in a place like India would be boring. Our Lake side view room was large and very clean and secure. Where English was not fluent, the staff attempted so hard and this was greatly appreciated as we have no Indian language skills - always smiles all round. This Hotel is for the tourist Indian you can tell from the decoration and interior design, but if you are an international traveller and want a real experience, stay here - it is alive, fun and food is good. Pool looked nice but too cold for us to swim in March - would have otherwise. Staying here was a great experience - it was fun and different and I am glad we did it. We've travelled to India many times, but this was the first time back to Udaipur in 12 years - we also chose to stay in another Hotel after our stay in Brahma Niwas (it is more for the international traveller) and can I say, Brahma Niwas was the more realistic of stays. I would return for a couple of nights stay just for the friendliness of the staff and the food.

It was a pleasant stay for 2 days here with my friends with a small surprise of bachelorite. Mahendra Singh Solanki supported us with planning this small decoration in our room itself. The staff as a whole is very supportive and kind. The services and view both are amazing.

Had a pleasant stay at Brahm niwas.The room was cozy and well-maintained, and the staff was courteous. Breakfast could have had more variety, but overall a great experience. Would definitely consider staying again."
