If you are planning on staying in the Tuscola area, please choose another hotel. Beware their cancellation policy is 48 hrs. notice. We gave a 24 hr notice of cancellation due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. There were huge storms including a tornado in the area which left many towns without power for several days. The events we planned on attending all got cancelled, and more severe weather was on the way. We were charged 100% for a room we did not use. NO exceptions per the manager who did not call me back but had the desk clerk tell me. I recommend the Holiday INN express. While it may cost a little more, their rooms are super nice, have breakfast, and their cancellation policy is 24 hr. notice. Also, I tried to call the corporate office to complain, but their phone number online is not a working number.
