Beachfront Location and Grounds: The hotel is highly praised for its beachfront location and well-maintained grounds, which include beautiful landscaping and sightings of small animals.

Overall, holiday was really nice, clean rooms. Evening Buffet could be better but lunches were incredible. The only problem i have is behaviour of your staff.lt was umcomfortable when bar staff asked me few times where is my husband , did i came on my own, other woment told me the same. That they were asked few times as well. The other thing is a a la carte restaurants. On the app it is impossible to book a table, when you get there tables are empty! And we found why, the staff in the reception wants extra tip for bookings. That is insane.

Slight disappointment following our recent stay at the Bahia Principe Grand Tulum, which we had chosen to celebrate two very special occasions – a 50th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary. Prior to our arrival, we contacted the hotel to highlight the significance of this trip and to request interconnecting rooms for our party, if possible. Unfortunately, this request was not acknowledged or fulfilled. Moreover, we were surprised to find that the rooms allocated to us were not among the recently refurbished ones advertised on the Bahia Principe website. Instead, we were given rooms that appeared dated and poorly maintained, with damaged furniture, broken light fittings, missing bulbs, and at times even no running water. Mini bar in room is sparse Additionally, the TUI website mentions that beaches in this area “sometimes experience increased levels of seaweed – called sargassum”, and that “hotel staff will do everything they can to clear it.” However, this issue was far more than occasional during our two-week stay – the beach was completely inaccessible for the duration of our holiday, despite this being one of the key attractions for choosing this resort. To be clear, we did still enjoy many aspects of the holiday – the food and dining options were very good, and the pools and splash parks were excellent. However, having previously stayed at Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife, which exceeded our expectations, we had high hopes for this trip – particularly as it marked such important milestones in our lives. Sadly, some of the shortcomings left us feeling deflated and cast a shadow over what should have been a truly memorable, once-in-a-lifetime holiday. The criticisms in this review maybe seen as pedantic, but when you've spent well over £10,000 for a special family holiday, expectations are rightly high and should be fulfilled as standard.
