This was an outstanding experience! Papaya Playa Project provided the perfect getaway and escape from the everyday grind of life! Primo and Antonio were amazing! They helped get our taxis daily, and provided wonderful recommendations for experiencing Tulum. Martin, Jose and Eric were fantastic hosts for meals and after dinner drinks. Our room was beautiful, private pool and view of the ocean with access to the beach. Everything was clean and lovely. The vibe was peaceful and relaxed. I loved their concern for conservation and protection of the sea turtles. We will be back!

Spectacular experience! Primo and Antonio were a warm welcome!! Eric, Martin and soo many others were hospitable during our stay. The food was amazing and the rooms were comfortable and cool! Easy access to everything and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time!

My wife and I came to Papaya Playa Project to celebrate our anniversary, explore Tulum, and take a trip on our own with the kids at home. The staff at PPP was extremely kind and helpful, gave us excellent service, recommendations, and tips on the area. We booked a private Chichen Itza & cenotes tour through the hotel and it was fantastic - I highly recommend using the tour company; the guides did an excellent job. The food at the hotel was very good, and the location offered us short rides to the top restaurants in the hotel zone as well as Tulum city proper. Our recommendation would be to find a taxi driver you enjoy and trust and communicate with them regularly via WhatsApp. The hotel’s rooms were nice, and we enjoyed having our own pool to relax. This is an excellent boutique property through the Marriott system. An excellent place for a couple to take some time away to relax, enjoy great food and accommodations, and a good program of activities. We highly recommend the yoga. We will be back!

My stay at Papaya Playa Project was simply amazing. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully designed, blending perfectly with nature. The service was impeccable, always attentive and friendly, and the music added a special touch to every moment, creating a unique atmosphere. Without a doubt, the perfect place to relax and enjoy.

Papaya Playa Project was such a beautiful experience. Primo truly made us feel at home, and the whole atmosphere had that warm, family vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The service was excellent, and I want to give a special mention to Adolfo and Javier from the kitchen team — their kindness, attention, and genuine care really stood out and made everything even better. A place full of good energy, great people, and unforgettable moments.

Amazing experience here at Papaya Playa. I came for my birthday and it was a great choice. The staff was phenomenal, food was amazing, and big credits to Primo who gave us great spots to go to each night. I will definitely be visiting again soon. I already started planning !!!

We had an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—each dish was clearly prepared with care. What really stood out, though, was the outstanding service. Our server, Sergio, was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. He made thoughtful recommendations, kept everything flowing seamlessly, and went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable meal. It’s rare to find such a great balance of quality food and exceptional hospitality, but this restaurant delivered both effortlessly. We’ll definitely be coming back soon and will be asking for Sergio again!
