Alea Hotel was eventually closed due to unknown reasons, however the management booked us a similar room at a nearby hotel so we didn’t encounter any difficulties.

Nice Hotel at the beach. Not a good beach, a lot of rocks. Quit place. Youtube have to take a taxi from the Hotel, fixed price 500 pesos to tulum. Its very expencive. A bottle of water in the restaurant was 200 pesos, crazy!! Nice service. Varm drinks in the minibar, ask for ice bucket.

Wunderschöne, kleine Hotelanlage direkt am Meer. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr geräumig. Frühstück a la carte war ebenfalls hervorragend. Das Meer hat dort sehr viel Seegras und ist eher nicht zum schwimmen geeignet. Um so mehr Freude machten die Pelikane, welche man beim Fischen beobachten konnte. Wir würden wieder das Alea wählen in Tulum.

Very professional staff, very relaxing facilities, beautiful view that my wife enjoyed. If there were any negative points, it would be the sargassum on the beach. But overall, it's a very good hotel and very private area.

The staff is excellent. Shout out to Luis and Samantha at reception and all the wait staff at the restaurant. The beds and pillows and cleanliness are good. You need a rental car. This place is very peaceful.
