Overall excellent nice service, good location, cleaness but first day comes no shampoo and liquid soap. Until call they come to provide it. Food also nice.

My husband I were guests for 3 nights at the Doubletree By Hilton Tulsa 6 days ago. Having been the Assistant Director of Guest Relations for Hilton Hotels Corporation back in the day when Barron Hilton was President, I have always felt Hilton Hotels was synonymous with excellence. Unfortunately, this hotel missed the mark in more ways than one. To be fair, I will give the pros and cons of our visit: Pros: *Good location *Pleasant surroundings *Lobby is very nice *Hotel room was nice for the most part (more about this later) Cons: *Checked in and prepaid for parking ($15.00/day). When we went to park in the garage, our room key did not work at the gate, despite my asking the clerk if the room key gave us access to the garage. So, back to the front desk and had the clerk add our parking pass. *First room we were assigned was on the 8th floor. The room did not have a refrigerator or telephone as listed in the room details. We were assigned another room on the same floor. *Carpet on the 8th floor common area is a bit tired and needs to be stretched to prevent falls. *In our second room the shower backed up, making it necessary to turn the water off and on to prevent flooding. We reported this to the front desk. It was never resolved during our stay. *We only had decaffeinated coffee in our room. We requested regular coffee to the front desk. This was never resolved during our stay. *Our bed did not have a top sheet. We only had a blanket with ridges, making it uncomfortable. We contacted the front desk and requested a top sheet. This was never resolved during our stay. *On our last night, we went to the pool. While my husband swam, I went to the hot tub. I sat in the tub for 5 minutes at a time, as it was very hot. My brand new $200.00 bathing suit faded as a result. It was a pretty blue, and now it is a shabby gray. I have attached a picture of the suit to show the color difference. The pretty blue at the top of the suit is still intact because it was not submerged under water. Apparently, someone put too much chlorine in the hot tub. This is not only a safety hazard, but a health hazard as well. *Also, while at the pool we witnessed a young lady around 30+ slip in the pool area. We found the surface to be extremely slippery, especially when it is wet. Another liability. The next morning, we checked out. I communicated our disappointment to Jayla, the front desk clerk. I showed her my bathing suit and explained what happened. I requested to talk with the general manager. She told me the manager would not be in until 8:00am. I filled out an incident report for my bathing suit and Jayla took down my phone number and assured me the general manager would call me. It has been 6 days since we checked out and we still have not received a call. Can you see a pattern here? I find it amazing the lack of follow through from the employees at this hotel. The Doubletree has a lot of potential. What is sorely needed

Was ordered to go to the front desk at 8:00pm after I was in bed in my nightgown due to miscommunication amongst staff regarding extending my stay an additional night. Even though I confirmed upon check in and again on the 2nd day that there was nothing further I needed to do. Heads up: They do not have vending machines, and the rooms do not have microwaves, or refrigerators.

I’m so amazed by the service I got I’m disabled so I don’t get the best service lately and Andrew went above and beyond just to make me feel welcome he was so professional and didn’t make me feel belittled he was genuinely the best part about staying i will be signing up to be a member
