Disaster trip!! Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Over priced and over rated. No service at bar, unfriendly staff.. Most didnt speak german and english was basic. food was ok but everything on buffet so long queues making eating with kids uncomfortable. Restaurant loud and no where to go to have quiet time with kids.. No no no…

The exact opposite of 'adults only' concept. I will start with a negative - if you are looking to relax in a peaceful and quite place, you should look for a different hotel. On the contrary, if you are looking for a place where you can let your kids freely roam around while you are having a beer or a dinner, or even doing some work in your room, go for it by all means. I was not convinced places like this exist - gosh I was wrong! The entire concept is around kids and kids and kids! and of course, their parents, who are free to do whatever they want without worrying where their kids are. Yes, we were able to stay in the room while the kids roamed around the playground/kidsclub/reception area and even take the elevator by themselves (they are 8 and 4). They loved the falky train, special thanks to Luka (who spoke our language) and Patrick for letting the kids run in front. Another big thanks to Davor/Andrea in the kids club, they loved them and are still thrilled about Falky :) Many staff coming from former Yugoslavia which helped our kids get around in their mother tongue (non-German speakers). So special thanks to Kristian, Andrea, Davor, Ivan, Dragana, Luka, Marko at the ski-shop who serviced kids' skis very efficiently ... ladies from the houskeeping (one from Serbia, the other from Ukraine) even found a missing pearl from an earring and placed it on a visible spot so is not lost. many thanks! (and thanks goes also to Michele from Sardinia, not only for finding us a good table but hiring such a crew!). I disagree with the comment on bad ski-areas for kids, on the contrary, Golm is just perfect, and the ski-school met our expectations. The youngsters were able to progress from total beginners (piou-piou in the French system, to doing 'piste rouge' thanks to Maja who even managed to communicate to them in French). The only minus was with our eldest who did not do quite well in understanding German in a more advanced group. We are looking forward to come again!

It is a very cozy hotel. The common areas have so many things for children to be preoccupied. The breakfast and dinner have a big variety and the food is extremely nice, especially the live cooking. Most of all, I would like to thank the team working there. They were all extremely polite and helpful, Gabo, Marco, Gabriella, Helmut and the Chef from Crete in the live cooking and Ivona at the reservations. I would like to give my special thanks to Michele, he is the heart of the restaurant, he reminded me of the maestro of the Vienna orchestra. Also, our special thanks to Betty (Elizabette) who was born to build relations with guests. Thank you for the wonderful stay

Wonderful place for winter holidays with kids! We really enjoyed our stay and can say , the best winter holidays for us so far with our kids.

Terrible service in all departments . This property doesn’t even qualify as a 3 star rating.
