Comfort Inn & Suites I-25 Near Spaceport America

My room had black bugs crawling everywhere and when I fell asleep one of the bugs crawled into my ear it was the worst experience I have ever had. Didn't know why I woke up with pain and a fluttering feeling in my ear well I had one of those bugs in my ear, So I went to notify the front desk and he admitted to having a black bugs problem and told me I'll switch u rooms but if u just admitted to having a problem the other room is going to be the same so upon going back to the room and cleaning and looking for bugs in the bed we found 2 more and there was several in the love seat my 3 day weekend trip turned into 1 1/2 day trip and today is the 3rd day and I still haven't heard of im even going to get a refund for my trip never again don't recommend staying there for no one especially kids don't know if these bugs can crawl in kids or babys ears

Let's start with it is NOTHING like the photos. The photos show a Dennys within walking distance. Yes there used to be, once you arrive you will see it has clearly been closed for quite some time. The plus of the property is the beds (at least in our room) were clean, well made, new mattresses, comfy, and critter free. (I always check for critters first) There is an indoor pool that was rarely occupied, as well as a hot tub and a work out room. Breakfast is offered as well. (we did not partake in breakfast so can not comment on the details, although IMO it is always a plus when one Is served) We were staying for a week and in this area of town there are very few options of where to stay. Especially during the New Mexico Open. It was not super expensive which is typical for this type of hotel. The Cons, I will attach photos and just share basic details. Our Fridge had mold in the freezer area (we did get it replaced) The floor in front of the fridge was sticky and dirty and we cleaned it ourself Our Bathroom sink had serious gunk behind it Our Bathroom vent well, see photo Our sheer curtains were torn. If you have other options to choose, I would not choose here again. We did not leave because during this time there were not many options.

Our stay was 8/13. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and very nice. However, the next morning, came down to the first floor and noticed a very large bug on the floor. Breakfast was terrible- eggs that had no taste, apple juice was apple flavored water and the coffee was more water than coffee. This was the first time a Comfort Inn did not exceed my expectations. Very disappointed.

Overall - a reasonable value. Breakfast was Ok. A few items not available -- sour cream, orange juice, ... Bathroom door frame was rusty.

This property is very dated. Carpets in the hallway are visibly stained and dirty. There was no hot water in the morning. We had trouble getting onto the Internet and the front desk wasn’t any help. The coffee in the morning was really just brown water. The door handle on our room opened swinging up rather than swinging down and that was very weird. The key card reader on one of the outside entrances only worked half the time and the keys themselves were a little bit iffy. We didn’t use the indoor pool because it’s extreme proximity to the front desk and it felt very public. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our 2 night stay and we were in and out during the day, and there was opportunity for them to clean the room, but they chose not to. It was really the worst Comfort Inn and Suites that I’ve ever stayed in. They really do have a higher bar. We were very disappointed
