Great sense of arrival - looks like a mountain lodge both inside and out. I was in a single king room which has a sleeper sofa and seating area, so it didn't feel like a typical hotel room. Our group used the meeting spaces, and our folks that had been to the hotel when it was a Hampton Inn said the upgrades were remarkable. Great access to Lake Tahoe area - looking forward to coming back to the Martis Valley Lodge with the family!

We had a great trip to Truckee staying at the Martis Valley Lodge. It was perfect location! Very short drive to downtown Truckee where we had dinner and walked around the shops. It also is very easy access to get to Lake Tahoe as well. We spent a day on Donner Lake renting jet skis which was beautiful and perfect! We have a 4 and a 6 year old and we highly recommend this hotel! There's also a walking path to the shopping center next door and we hate at Truckee Brewing Company and highly recommend!

When we checked in and the clerk said we were the Guest of the Day we thought he was joking. However, we were upgraded to a suite with a preferred parking space. Talk about feeling special. Our suite had a living/wet bar area and separate bedroom. In addition, there was a full bathroom with a shower and separate jacuzzi style tub. There was also a powder room off the living area. There was a TV in each living area, although a bit small for the spaces. The wet bar area included a microwave, fridge and sink. The living area had a couch, chair and desk. Wireless and wired internet although the wired internet appeared to be down. Complementary internet is fairly slow and not suitable for streaming. The bathroom was spacious but the lighting could be better in the shower. The bedroom had outlets on one side of the bed but not the other. Other than that, the outlets and lighting were good. The breakfast area is clean with adequate seating. The breakfast is better than most complimentary ones. The staff is fun and efficient.

We had an excellent time staying at this property. Our room was beautiful and super clean. The hotel has a great location and it's very nice. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great and so convenient. We didn't end up using the pool but it looked very inviting...we saw other guest enjoying it very much. I really liked the decorations and colors used and the wonderful books in the common areas...great touch. Games available too. We will be back for sure...Highly recommend.

We got a sneak peek of the newly remodeled rooms at Martis Valley Lodge, and they’re absolutely beautiful. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with a modern mountain vibe. The beds were super comfortable, and we loved the peaceful setting surrounded by nature. It’s a perfect base for exploring Tahoe, and the staff was warm and welcoming. The lodge is now open, and we can’t wait to come back for a full stay!

The customer service from upper management is subpar. The resolution given by the GM to an unacceptable experience was absolutely laughable. Pretty bad management for a Hilton

We were really impressed with the design and overall look of this Hampton Inn! It felt more like a lodge than a typical hotel. No issues with our stay and the staff let us change rooms after I discovered I didn’t like the location of our first room. We will stay here again if we are ever in this location again. Very convenient location to Lake Tahoe and Donner Memorial State Park.
