Located in the historic centre of Troyes the Maison de Rhodes is centred around an ancient garden. The restoration of this former property of the Knights of Malta was entrusted to the Compagnons du Devoir which has restored this medieval house to its former glory. The bedrooms feature Chassagne stone floors or hexagonal-floor tiles and splendid timber framing. The decoration is a contemporary take on the original 17th century design with its reworked panelling and tinted beams. This journey back in time continues all the way to the hotels comfortable beds Decorated with crimson curtains the restaurant is renowned for its organic cuisine. A swimming pool has recently been built in the garden.

A fabulous characterful hotel in the old part of Troyes. We had a fabulous suite. Parking was a little tricky but we had pre-booked an EV charging spot that worked well. The cost includes the electricity. We had an evening meal that suited us well. The menu is limited and some of the food is bought in but it worked for us. The hotel team were very friendly and helpful.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind modern, sauber und komfortabel, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage und das stilvolle Ambiente. Wer in Troyes ein zentrumsnahes und gepflegtes Hotel sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Das hoteleigene Restaurant konnte uns nicht überzeugen – sowohl preislich als auch geschmacklich gibt es in Troyes deutlich bessere Alternativen. Zum Essen lohnt sich also ein Spaziergang in die Altstadt, wo man viele ausgezeichnete Lokale findet. Insgesamt aber ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel für einen entspannten Aufenthalt in Troyes!

Très bel hôtel dans le centre historique de Troyes à deux pas de la Cathédrale et des musées d’art moderne et du vitrail. L’hôtel possède un parking dans lequel nous nous sommes garés mais il y’a aussi un parking sécurisé a proximité tandis que les rues adjacentes semblent assez sûres. Les chambres sont très belles et la literie et les draps sont de qualité et donc un vrai plus Nous y avons passé deux nuits et lors du dîner, excellent, nous avons rencontré le jeune chef fort sympathique. Avant le départ, nous avons pu profiter du petit déjeuner. Une vraie expérience dans cette magnifique salle et sa cheminée. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce charmant hôtel si vous souhaitez découvrir Troyes ou y faire une simple halte.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at La Maison de Rhodes. Kamil and Julie gave us such a warm and charming welcome—it’s clear this hotel is a true family gem. The historical setting is stunning, beautifully decorated, with cozy areas perfect for unwinding. The swimming pool and picturesque garden, complete with a few inviting chairs, made for a lovely spot to relax. We often drive through France from London to reach Geneva or the ski resorts, and this was such a delightful stopover. There’s so much to discover in Troyes—we can’t wait to return!

Très bon séjour, emplacement idéal pour découvrir le centre de Troyes. L’atmosphère que propose l’hôtel est inégalable, c’est magnifique. L’équipe est particulièrement accueillante, le petit déjeuner est excellent. Bref, nous avons hâte de revenir. Merci pour tout.
