Silver Beach Hotel

We had 11 nights here and have to say we had a lovely relaxing time. Good size room and bathroom with walk in shower. Great view of the sea. We also had a ground floor room, as requested. Could do with a refresh, as a bit dated, but will say the room was beautifully cleaned every day. The staff are wonderful especially the bar staff and restaurant. A special mention has to go to Tivesh, Mia and the lovely restaurant manager in the morning. When we had early trips, she made sure we had breakfast to take away. Loved the cocktails especially, Pineapple daiquiri is a must. The downfall is lack of evening entertainment. The restaurant could do with a better menu, but must say we never found that there wasn't anything we couldn't eat. Just needs a bit of better planning. Great range of salads though. Lovely desserts as well, small choice,but enough for us.The guy in the hut who looks after sunbeds will also happily arrange any trips. The hotel also has it's own taxis outside if you want a tour around the island. The boat trips are also a must. All in all we had a wonderful holiday, in a beautiful place.

This hotel has the most amazing staff, I’ve literally never experienced such genuine hospitality at a hotel it seems effortless but yet wonderful. From the first day they remembered our names and greeted us like friends, my husband’s birthday was made extra special they decorated our table for dinner and made a birthday cake with candles. The hotel does need to be renovated just to make it more modern. The food is fantastic not a great choice but everything we have had has been delicious.

I stayed for a week in July there. I really enjoyed my stay except for some things that left me unsatisfied. Only when service, hospitality, and cuisine come together perfectly can a hotel offer a truly enjoyable moment. The staff at the reception were everytime friendly and helpful. The food was not bad in all which was price ratio moderately correct, but boring. Many waiters’ behaviour was unprofessional some of them seemed not to have good knowledge about their profession and how to behave correctly and treat a client politely and discretely. Although this is also part of the hospitality, not just the food count. Some waiters keep walking from one end of the room to the other both hand in pocket, or sometime arms crossed, sometime even yawning, One of them, a two meters big guy, never greet me when I came in. He moved like a dead man walking. The cooks serving the hot meal at the buffet were almost unfriendly, giving me the impression that I am not welcome there. When I came with my plate for the main course, they seem not to have seen me and then stood there like a robot. The Sega dance performed by the locals in the evening didn’t quite live up to expectations. It felt uninspired and became monotonous due to the constant repetition of the same rhythm.

The hotel is rather small and very quiet, ideal for a relaxing holiday. Rooms (at least ours) have been recently renovated and are very comfortable and spacious Pools, beach and restaurant usually not crowded Staff very friendly On the less positive: Sea in front of the hotel is not great. Water gets immediately deep and (at least during our week) it is not ideal for snorkeling. Also the bay is very open so the sea can get choppy. Food (which is good anyway) tends to be a bit repetitive It's not a proper "all inclusive": you get drinks at the bar but no snacks or food, and the bar closes at 21.00. This is reflected in the price, so not necessarily a negative. The bar only serves carbonated drinks... Final consideration: if you're driving around and use the hotel to rest and relax, it's perfect. A whole week static at the hotel may proove boring

We stayed for 6 nights as Honeymooners. Even though they are in need of a face lift/renovations, the cleanliness of the rooms and communal areas were pristine. The food and drinks variety was amazing and always delicious. We tried everything we weren’t familiar with. There was something different to choose from everyday for lunch and dinner. The staff will go out of their way to accommodate any request you have to make your stay more pleasurable and are really friendly. We loved our stay. Will definitely go back.

We stayed here many many years ago. Really enjoyed it. Food was very good indeed. Drinks very good. Lovrly chalet on the beach very clean. We made lots of friends and had a regular long table of about 16 people for dinner. Staff absolutely excellent. Very friendly. Could not do enough for you. We all got on so well we had a football game between staff and holiday makers. I ended up singing a few times with the band. One of the best holidays ever. Would love to go back.
