I made a reservation requesting a lower bunk bed. My legs and hips are not normal. but did not receive attention I got a 2nd floor bed. It was difficult to get on. There was no handrail to prevent falling. I don't drink water because I'm afraid it won't be convenient to get in and out of bed. Moreover, the mattress makes loud noises when I move my body.
**It's all my problem. Dormitory rooms are not suitable for me.

房間乾淨開闊，衞生條件很好，各種設施齊全，視野也好，地勢高。就是距離公交站要走幾分鐘，又在山坡上，行李多的要多走很多，白天比較方便，晚上太折騰

A really welcoming stay in a quiet residential district, just a short from the main attractions such as Nidaros Cathedral. The guest kitchen and dining facilities were really top notch, and my single room had everything I could wish for. Very friendly receptionists with good information, always happy to chat to you. People who had shared rooms said they were also very good.

Very good value for money
I visited Trondheim as a city tourist in the summer, but almost everybody else in the hostel was cycling or hiking their way through Norway.
This hostel is absolutely for such people.
To start with, there is a very cheap laundromat in the building next to the hostel. Just 25 NOK (about €2) for a wash and free drying!!! That is the cheapest laundry I have done on trips in Europe.
The hostel also has a kitchen, which was used by a few people to cook large quantities of food to take on their camping/hiking, when they won't have access to a kitchen. It is a relatively small kitchen though.
The views from the hostel, at least in summer, are great.
The hostel itself is on top of a hill, so factor that in if you are carrying a lot of luggage on a cycle or are walking.

I was surprised that I had to make the bed. I don’t think I have had to do that at any hostel before. Staff were extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful, made my trip much better. The schoolkids were really noisy but I guess that’s to be expected.
