Locanda Ponte Dante

Locanda Ponte Dante was a great find, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located by the river. The self check-in was quick and easy, and the breakfast was delicious especially with the variety of nuts and seeds. Just a short walk to Treviso’s main sights. Highly recommended for a relaxed and convenient stay.

After a month of travel in Europe, we enjoyed our favorite breakfast at this hotel -- primarily because of the table presentation. Each and every table was set with its own supply of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, etc. Anyway, this hotel was very well located for us. It was walking distance from the train station, and adjacent to the old town center of Treviso. Also, it was just 2 minutes walk from where we met our Beescover guide for a walking tour of the city. Our room was very comfortable, and we truly enjoyed the view of the canal from the window. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rate we paid was reasonable, and the WiFi & air conditioning was strong. Our rate included breakfast (served starting at 7:30am), but we had to miss the breakfast on the last day of our stay -- so the hotel gave us a bag breakfast the night before. BTW, the hotel's restaurant was great too. We had dinner there one night, and it was our best meal in Treviso.

Highly recommend ! Great welcome for an 11 am check-in. Greeted with an offer of a coffee or prosecco. Beautiful attention to detail in the contemporary restoration of this historic building. Spacious rooms packed full of original features are tastefully done and very relaxing. Dinner in the locanda ranks amongst the very best. Great team all friendly and helpful. Good location. If you are going to Venice try staying here and catching the train to Venice ( approx 35 minutes ) Much better value for money and Treviso is very cool.
