"The hotel location is ideal within the grounds of Old Trafford cricket ground and not too far from the motorway and was easy to find. Car parking was free which is excellent for being close to a city centre. The check in staff were helpful and the room was clean and moder with sufficient storage. The price to upgrade breakfast was reasonable. The downsides were the cooked breakfast didn't taste great, sausages and bacon weren't great quality and I've had tastier hash browns in other hotels. Choice is fine though fairly limited and fresh fruit didn't look appealing. Pastries were good though, especially pecan twist. I could not get the wifi to work the whole time I was there, (even with a Hilton Honours account) and phoned Reception and they said to keep trying and it would connect, but it didn't. The person at checkout eventually managed to sort it, but was too late by then. The view from my room was unfortunately literally a building sit (though at breakfast you do get an excellent view of the stadium in the restaurant. You can hear the trains at night but only softly. The shower was not very powerful and is a movable hose so kept moving at an angle even when in free standing mode. .Overall, a reasonably good stay, but would expect more from a Hilton."

"Chose this place for the location. Was near where I needed to be. There was one staff on check in when I arrived and a bit of a queue, thankfully there was one card available on the self service check I machine so I used that. When I returned a little after midnight there was no staff on reception for me to talk to. While in my room earlier I noticed the pump on the soap didn't work properly. At night I attempted to out the heating on as it was cold. And I followed the instructions, but it just seemed to be cold (this was on 24degrees) so I decided I'll try 30 see if that made a difference, it didn't. I even tried upping the fan power. Nothing so ended up switching it off. I was absolutely freezing for most the night, even with extra clothes on. The shower in the morning, the water temperature was good but the head wouldn't stay centre in the holder, it rotated out to the floor even when I had changed the angles. After the poor night sleep I got, I was unimpressed by this. I was going to have breakfast but decided I needed to try for a little extra sleep and also didn't want to give the hotel any more of my money. It was appalling that there was no one at reception when I came in to talk to. My room was on the top floor and quite a distance from reception so the idea of going back down at 230am for someone unlikely to be there wasn't appealing. I won't be in a hurry to come back here. When checking out, again only one staff member was on the desk (11am), there's a place to leave your room key for "quick check out" but when I go to the car park machine I need a qr code to get the hotel guest "discount", so I had to go back inside and queue up and wait to speak to the one person, to then find there's some qr codes printed at the side of the desk (no sign and it wasn't obvious) so wasted time queuing up along with the people behind me. This obviously didn't help my mood after being sleep deprived because it was too cold to sleep."

"Really bad service - having to wait over 1 hr30 for food in the evening - only after asking multiple times where it was. really put a dampener on our stay. There was no one to welcome you to the hotel, really small lobby to check in at a screen, that you still needed to wait for someone to come and give you room keys anyway. clean room, comfortable bed - creaky floors though. Location was great in Media City - but I don't think I would stay here again due to the lack of service."

"The one thing letting down this hotel is the car park where my sons car was wilfully damaged by some ones boot. We stayed there for two nights travelling over 230 miles to attend my fathers funeral Friday 22nd May. The car park does not belong to the hotel but there have been reports of other cars being damaged including disabled bay cars. Some thing that Premier inn does not tell you about. Beware!!!!!!! Hotel is nice and staff are lovely by the way its just uncontrolled vandalism."
