Toya-Onsen Hotel Hanabi Reviews

This hotel had a great view of the lake. The room is big for Japanese standards. Parking is very limited so do try to reach the hotel earlier and leave the luggages at the reception before going for your lunch.

Nice hotel that is next to the lake, amazing views all day. The room is clean. The dinner and breakfast are good. In the night, there is fireworks and just need to walk out of the hotel and you can see the fireworks.

Hotel was dated but functional and affordable. Able to see the fireworks from the hotel room. Breakfast has many varieties.

One of the more affordable onsen hotel along the lake. Small on price but definitely did not compromise on comfort and quality. Dated building but the bed and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was full of options and delicision I stayed in a single room facing the mountain. Even though it was along the road, it was not noisy. Simple onsen, perfect for the cold weather Just outside the bus stop. The free fireworks displayed right in front of the hotel. One minus... Like many older onsen hotels in Japan, the carpets are dusty. It triggered my sneezing and I don't usually get allergic with dust!

The room is big and clean, not crowned. Onsen is ok. View from our room can see lake toya. Not too far to go to convenience store and go to see toya illuminium

Watch our first snow from this hotel window. And can walk to outside have a nice photo shooting. Room is cozy and clean. Also has onsen can use everyday.

Hotel is old but rooms are huge and functional. Reception is a little cold. Parking is free and comes with onsen. It is located beside lake Toya and we had a chance to see the fireworks at night.

The food was excellent. Great service and awesome onsen. Would recommend it.

Room is comfortable and waking up to the view of Lake Toya feels surreal. The dinner was fantastic! In-house Onsen is also great!

Rooms are spacious but a little old. Views from the balcony are excellent.

Everything is same as per others reviewed. But my main concern is the room security. The doors are old door with only 1 level of lock which is the old style door knob lock. I heard someone (probably some tourist who gotten their room number wrongly) keep trying to open my door & that makes me feel very uncomfortable & insecure as a solo female traveller. Especially mine is a the last second corner unit. The wall isnt sound proof as well. Keep on hearing people talking outside across the rooms, occasionally heard some banging or knocking on the wall sound. While these issues are out of their control but i guess a simple arrangement to change the doors are not that tough. So overall quite a bad experience. Doubt will ever be back.

Location is pretty good for price hotel is pretty clean. room is simple and good breakfast/dinner is very bad - a lot of (Chinese) tourist and quite a lot of them are bad manners. if you are on a budget and just need a room, it is ok. Otherwise, just a Chinese-target facility

The location and onsen are superb!
