Holiday Inn Express Towson- Baltimore North

We were here for a conference at Goucher College and decided to stay at this hotel rather than on campus (which was extremely lucky for us!) This was a really nice hotel. So far, all the Holiday Inn Expresses have been good, and this one was no exception. The bedroom was very large and had surprisingly good pillows (my pet peeve is pillows that are way too soft; these were not) Lots of drawer space for our clothes and a big comfortable bed. Our room had a sitting area with a comfortable sofa and a good-sized coffee table. We really enjoyed have the sink in the efficiency kitchen area along with the microwave. There was also lots of closet space here which I find to be a plus with a hotel. And two big flat screen TVs. Plus, a Bose Wave Music System! The bathroom was nice sized with a rain head shower with multiple settings. The only quibble was that we had to step up to get into the shower. Granted it isn't a big step, but my wife, who has eyesight problems, it was a little wonky. Otherwise, this room was great. The hotel also offers a free breakfast; the usual serve yourself fare. We enjoyed the breakfast (especially the fact that unlike most breakfasts that have a waffle maker, here there was a pancake maker) The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was very clean, another big plus in my book. There is an outdoor pool, but because of the heat and humidity (sorry, I am from NY (LOL)) we didn't use it. I recommend this hotel
