Everything is good

Just ok. The size of the room is décent considering we are in France. Cleaning service was not very good. We stayed Tuesday-Saturday and the cleaning person came once and left with all our towels, didn’t empty the bathroom garbage or add toilet paper rolls. We asked for towels and the ended up having to go get them at the front desk ourselves.

Exceptional 2 bed apartment in beautiful calm hotel for our family of 5. Location is 3 minute walk from city center. Loved our stay .

Start with the positives. The location is excellent for exploring central Toulouse. The rooms are a good size, I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and this could easily sleep 2 adults and 2 children. Sadly that’s where it ends. The sauna was broken. The pool has maintenance issues, 2 members of our party cut their fingers in rough edges. The rooms are very clean but starting to look a little tired. The kitchen was not fully stocked with a set of 4 crockery and cutlery. The most disappointing aspect of the hotel was the appalling attitude of the reception staff. With the exception of one lady who was training the team where rude and inhospitable. We were told every day that our children could not ‘play’ in the pool and that they were being too loud. In fact they were just children enjoying their holiday and time with friends. With the male member of staff this was done in a rude and aggressive way. This hotel is absolutely not suitable for families!!

Do not stay here!!! We were a group of families, approximately 23 guests in total, and were very much looking forward to our trip, especially as the hotel appeared lovely on arrival and we were excited to enjoy the facilities. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing. The main issue concerned the treatment of our children when using the swimming pool. On the first day, a female staff member approached them and said, quite unbelievably, “please stop having fun.” While this was unusual, she was not overly rude. However, on the second day, a male member of staff came out and very abruptly told the children “no playing, no fun,” while shouting at us to “read the rules.” He then turned his back when we attempted to speak with him, and when we requested to speak with a manager, he simply replied “no.” This behaviour was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I must stress that our children were not misbehaving — they were simply swimming and enjoying themselves. They were neither rude nor excessively loud. Nothing in the rules displayed prohibited their behaviour, and given that the hotel appeared almost empty during our stay, their presence was hardly disruptive. In addition to this unacceptable treatment, we were also very dissatisfied with the standard of housekeeping and cleanliness: • Our rooms were not cleaned during the entire four-day stay, and bins were left unemptied. • The breakfast service was unsatisfactory, with ants present on the buffet area where food was being served. As paying guests who spent a considerable amount of money with your hotel, we feel extremely let down. The lack of basic hospitality, cleanliness, and professional conduct from staff fell far below the standards we expected. I would like a formal response to this complaint, along with an explanation of how such issues will be addressed. Given the scale of the problems, I believe a gesture of compensation would also be appropriate.
