Excellent bed and breakfast Very welcoming staff, excellent locally sourced breakfast. Very tempting menus on the blackboard in the bar - it was a shame we were already booked to eat elsewhere! Next time...

Perfect Location Highdown Inn is a perfect location to explore the West IOW. The food and drink is excellent and the pub was packed every evening though this did not affect the comfort of our room. Although a little ‘worn out’ our room was clean and comfy. Good bedding and towels. My only complaint was the ridiculously watery shower gel/shampoo and body lotion . You could not pour it in your hand it just ran away before you could get it to your body! I finished up using 10 times more than I would with normal shower gel etc because most of it went down the plug! False economy

Perfect for us Perfect twin room, not the biggest but everything you need, bright, cheerful and very well presented. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Dinner in the evening was delicious with a good selection of real ales. Breakfast room (not in the main pub) is lovely and lots of choice. Parking right outside, very handy for the Tennyson Memorial and a walk to the Needles. Can’t fault it and will definitely come back.

Great breakfast We checked in on a Tuesday afternoon and were shown to our room by a young lady who was young and therefore needs experience in how to pass a few pleasantries with the guests. I have to say when I walked into our room, top of stairs first on right, I was disappointed in it for the amount of money we were paying but its location was good for a wedding nearby so... We had dinner in the pub and the staff serving were again lacking in the friendly banter. The food was fine. The lady serving at breakfast was much more friendly and I have to say the cooked English was lovely (you can always judge a breakfast on the quality of the bacon and sauasage used and these were excellent)

Fabulous stay We have a lovely four night stay, everything was excellent and the food was superb. Highly recommend
