The hotel is located at the corner of a main road, with a bus stop, convenient to the cathedral and the beach. There is a supermarket nearby and restaurants downstairs. It is a self-service economy hotel, clean, quiet and white, an ideal place to visit the Faroe Islands.

When booking, it was not specified that the bathroom and toilet were shared. There were three bathrooms, three toilets, and a kitchen. When booking, I saw that the room had a toilet, and I thought it was separate, which was a bit confusing.
When I went to take a shower at around 11pm, the water was too low to wash at all. Fortunately, it was back to normal the next day. The service attitude was OK, but the light next to the bed in the room was also broken.

We had some difficulty entering the premise initially, as I wasn’t aware I had to submit an online check-in prior to arrival at the property. Fortunately, I met a very resourceful local who’d manage to contact the owner to sort out the matter. After that, everything was smooth-sailing. The room was clean, kitchen well equipped, and the best selling point is the location. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

The property is clean, quiet, and in an excellent location. However, it does seem to be a bit of a work in progress. The furnishings are sparse and some of the bathroom hardware was broken. Also, the lack of outside signage can make it difficult to find, especially with the renovation work on nearby properties.

Good value
The guesthouse was a great value and was in a convenient location. My only issue was that there were many available rooms but was given a room adjacent to the street (on Friday and Saturday night) so it was loud ( lots of late night partying outside. Also, I was directly above the entrance door so was awakened by the door slamming.
