Tim and Vicky were so attentive and friendly with a very warm welcome and lovely clean comfortable rooms waiting. We all slept so well (which is unusual for us). Recommendations they gave us for dining were very impressive and the breakfast .. just delightful, the sausages were amazing and there was nothing too much trouble with everything freshly cooked to order and such a wide range of choices. We had a wonderful weekend and will return soon

First class b&b really friendly hosts. lovely large room with comfortable extra large bed with lovely plump pillows. Breakfast was exceptional with a good choice to choose from. Pleasant garden space for guests and a comfy lounge with tea & coffee. And also has a car park. Will definately book again if we are heading for torquay

Arrived Saturday 07/06/2025 during a torrential downpour but Tim was at the door with a warm welcome swiftly followed by Vicky. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to room One. The view from this room is over the front of the property through a very large sash window, making the room very bright. This room is large consisting of a very comfortable king size+ bed, dressing table and stool, wardrobe, chest of drawers, 2 chairs, tv., hospitality tray(tea, coffee, biscuits, milk, hot chocolate, bottle of water all replenished as required on a daily basis). Ensuite bathroom consists of shower over bath, heated towel rail, toiletries( shampoo/shower gel, conditioner, handwash, body lotion, large fresh towels. Breakfast consists of a selection of cereals, fruit juices, yogurts. Followed by a freshly cooked breakfast of your choice of bacon sausage mushrooms hash browns fresh tomatoes, beans, eggs. Alternative being fresh fruit , choice of mini pastries. Whatever you choose you will not want to eat till your evening meal. This breakfast was cooked to perfection by Tim and delivered to your table by the ever efficient Vicky. We stayed for 7 nights and the service never wavered from excellent. Location: Only 5-10minutes flat walk to sea front and local to a variety of local shops. Less than five minutes walk to Torre Abbey. Overall an excellent, value for money stay and free off road parking. On arrival at the Brandize B & B we were greeted by Tim & Vicky, immediately we were made welcome, our cases were carried up to our very spacious & spotlessly clean room with a king size bed, tea coffee and chocolate and biscuits were on side. The breakfast was cooked to order which was excellent lots of choice with a very spacious dining room, after spending the day out we came back to a lovely lounge where you can relax before going up to your room. Tim & Vicky are very knowledgeable about the area so no problem where to go. On our last morning after breakfast Tim offered to drive us to the railway station. We both had a very enjoyable stay at the Brandize and when we return to Torquay we will definitely stay again. We recommend the B & B as excellent.

comfy rooms, spotlessly clean, breakfast had evertyhing we could wanted (neither of us needed to eat again until 6pm!), sausages were amazing. It was nice to just leave the car at the guest house and walk/boat/steam train to wherever we wanted to go.

I booked this BB for the price as it was very reasonable. I read all the reviews before booking and I must admit I've never stayed any where that I've been made to feel so welcome. Vicki and Tim are so warm and friendly and they take extreme pride in their business and we have had the most lovely time here. The hotel is a lovely walk through a green area and the beach is not far. The beds are comfortable and clean. We have fresh towels everyday and there is always lovely biscuits and tea in the living room. We had a take away and they set up a table for us. They give good advice on where to go. The breakfast is very tasty and we have enjoyed meeting other guests and have a chat. I would highly recommend this BB and thank you for making our summer holiday so memorable.

This was a weekend away, reminiscing childhood holidays with my late parents and siblings. I love torquay and, in particular, this little guest house. Tim and Vicky are amazing hosts and run a lovely, friendly, clean guest house. The breakfast was exquisite, all locally sourced fresh ingredients, with plenty of options if you're not into the 'full english'.

Its a Lovley place to stay very clean, The room was lovley and the owners are very friendly and very welcoming and had a lovley breakfast with a good choice

A very comfortable stay at the Brandize Guest House with hosts Tim and Vicky. They went out of their way to make us feel at home with excellent breakfast options, very comfortable room and tea, coffee and biscuits freely available. Highly recommend.

Fantastic 4 nights stay in this hotel, Warm welcome from the owners Room is a good size with everything you could need , Beds very clean and comfortable, Breakfast delicious and nothing too much trouble , Perfect in every way Nice walk into town and facilities not too far away.

Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel, The owners are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, The bed was so comfortable and breakfast was delicious highly recommended, So good we booked for next year before we left .

We enjoyed an excellent breakfast every morning, with a range of British cooked breakfast, continental, fruit and pastries. Tim, Vicky and their son were very kind. They had awesome tips for our stay in the area. We stayed at the guest house with our two kids aged 5 and 8, and they especially liked the bunk bed and the living room downstairs with lots of board games. Very well suited for families with children!

We enjoyed two nights in the comfortable and quiet Brandize Guest House. The welcome that we received from Tim and Vicky when we arrived was amazing, nice friendly faces that didn't keep us chatting or hanging around for too long, after a long drive. The room was nice, enough room and plenty of space to hang clothes. A kettle with tea, coffee, water, biscuits and orange squash greeted us. The bathroom was fine. Breakfast was excellent, and we loved that we selected what we wanted the night before, so that there is no waste. Free car parking was helpful and the Guest House is 5 mins walk from the Abbey and only 10 mins from the seafront. Highly recommend.

The king size room is great. Super comfortable bed and quiet nights sleep. Tim and Vicky are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast has options for all diets (vegan, gluten free etc). Free parking is real bonus.
