I stayed here back in 2022 and got a room at the tower side of the hotel and the room was great. This month I stayed here and they gave us a room on the older side of the hotel with 3 stories and the rooms were very outdated and "dusty". The AC was not able to keep up and cool the room properly. Aside from that the breakfast and location are nice.

I'm not happy with my weekend at all. The elevators didn't work except for 2 freight elevators, by the time i left only 1 freight elevator worked for a 12 story hotel! The air didn't get any cooler than 74 in my room. The room was clean. The employees go above and beyond to help you any way they can. They were the best part of my stay.

Bed was super comfortable. The Hotel itself Could use some updates. The lobby area was nice and had a really good breakfast.

Employees were very nice and accommodating. Older hotel that is being updated slowly. Breakfast was ok! The lady at the breakfast buffet was very nice and helpful. Downtown Topeka is cute and in walking distance. Had BBQ at a restaurant/brewery.

The hotel has gone to the dogs the elevators don't work doors locked for the stairways this is a fire waiting to happen. People got stuck in the elevators. Disabled Veterans was at this hotel this weekend. The staff was great no complaints about them .

Convenient downtown location. Have a nice bar & restaurant in hotel - food was very good. Breakfast in the AM was great- with wonderful service by Mike & Vanessa. Also walking distance to some other restaurants. But avoid the Iron rail brewing. Rooms clean. Hotel quiet. If in Topeka give it a try. Also Blind tiger brewery is a great place to stop & only about 10 min away

We stayed here for two days while in town for a family wedding. I’ll start with the positives: the breakfast service was great, with lots of room to sit. The beds were comfortable and it overall felt like a decent enough hotel for the money you pay. We didn’t use the pool area, but it seemed nice and the architecture in the common areas were definitely unique. There are some great restaurants within driving distance. The not so great parts: only one working elevator for what is a HUGE building, non functional thermostats in multiple rooms ( we traveled in a group so can say that both our thermostat as well as the one next door were both not working, turning the rooms into saunas), peeling wallpaper, and incredibly thin walls. Our neighbors on one side apparently decided to rent a hotel room for what sounded like a very large group of pre- teen children. My husband was up until 3 AM the last night we were there listening to a rousing game of Uno ( the walls are so thin that you will literally hear every conversation your neighbors have- just a heads up…). If you’re on a budget and just need a place to lay your head it’s probably okay. It could be made a lot better with working elevators, better soundproofing and HVAC updates that seem badly needed.

Very good breakfast with a large selection of options and kind people to greet you in the morning. Quick and easy check in. Clean room and bathroom. Parking near elevator or entrance to hotel. Pool, fitness, sauna and hot tub available. Will be staying again and letting family and friends know this is a great option!

Room was very nice! I thought my bed was comfortable although my roommate didn't like hers. We had good television selections - too bad we didn't really have the time to watch it. Toilet usually flushed 😁and the A/C worked. Front desk was nice. The gathering areas were very, very humid, melting ladies' make up like a scene from "Raiders". The breakfast was good, though it closes too early on the weekends - I like to sleep in after everything is done. Did not like the "towel trade-in" idea -- my roommate & I were here for a very busy conference & didn't have time to run dirty towels all across the hotel & run clean ones back up. The maids did not touch our room the entire time we were there. Ran out of facial tissues, almost out of TP, and the trash piled up & up like the streets in NY during a strike. I don't expect beds made everyday with mints on pillows, but we shouldn't have to bag up & take out our own trash. I am used to tipping for room care, but nothing done equals nothing tipped. They did get the bar & grill opened in time for our group's gathering, they need to read their groups though, a 9pm close time was way too early (& some of these people would've imbibed). Long story short, it's a good place, I can tell they're working on it, it’s still got potential to be better than it is.
