The entire experience was HORRIBLE from check in to check out!!!
People were hanging out the window on the top floor when we pulled up. There was not an elevator in the building and no one to help with the luggage. We paid for a short stay days in advance, paid the deposit when arrived, and were left to carry our OUR OWN bags up 2 flights of stairs!!!
We found garbage left in the room from coffee cream to candy wrappers when we first walked in! So it obviously was not thoroughly cleaned or vacuumed!
The tub was extremely DIRTY!!
The bed linen had holes!
Both beds smelled HORRIBLY!!
We went to a store and bought our own cleaning and sanitizing items, bed linen and bath towels.
The refrigerator was dirty and the TV did not have a remote control. The front desk agent had to bring a remote from another room and program it to the TV.
The halls smelled like cigarettes during the day and ********* every night!!!
The other people in the hotel were poor and constantly trying to find ways to steal food, drinks, and money!
Both, naturally and spiritually!!!
This was one of the WORST PLACES I'VE EVER BEEN!!!!

Nobody came in. I dumped out my trash took my dirty Towels I couldn't find nobody that work there I had to go in there.And get my own towels then when the guy finally came around, he wouldn't get mad, because I went and got my own towel. And then he had an attitude. About the whole thing, I was not very happy

We checked into one room and found that the carpet was all wet from a leaking A/C. During the few minutes we were there, I noticed that the bathroom was not very clean. We were switched to another room and there, the bathroom light did not work at all and the outlet at the sink - where you plug in the coffee maker, blow dryer, etc. - did not work. We used the bathroom in the dark and called it a day as it was very late. The staff was very sweet and helpful, but neither of those rooms should have been available for guests.

DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL! Booked through ******* for a weekend swim meet. The room reeked of smoke so bad it was causing us headaches, the tv did not work, and the pool was closed down. We cancelled our reservation and left, and now they are denying a refund! Absolutely ridiculous!

Pool and Spa has been closed with no plans to reopen. Should remove then. Ice Machine not clean black slime under ice shoot. Room not cleaned pillow cases had makeup on them. A/C filter hadn’t been cleaned in months. Was given another room it was cleaner but worn out. Breakfast was well not fresh. I know it’s a Surstay but it’s a Nostay, I’ll do the no name for sure next stay.

Terrible Hotel! Room reeked of smoke so bad that it was causing headaches, the tv wouldn't work, and the pool was closed. Along with the terrible customer service, and the fact that we left and cancelled the reservation, they wouldn't give us a refund!

AWFUL! the beds were dirty- the sheets were ripped. the pool was not in service. and it smelled bad. and the AC didnt work for crap
