The Ranch Suites

Resting at the Ranch We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Ranch Suites. Bonnie confirmed our check-in time, kindly arranging for a check-in after regular office hours. The room was well-appointed, including an extra blanket and pillows, and candy on our pillows upon arrival. Blackout curtains ensured the room stayed dark while we slept. Spacious rooms and beds were very comfortable for our family of four. While we did not need the full-size oven and stove during our visit, they would be very handy for a longer stay. The full-size fridge was very handy for storing our restaurant leftovers. Bonnie was also very helpful in directing us to numerous breakfast and brunch options.

The room was shabby and sorely in need of a paint job. We were the only guests that night but it was noisy because of the close proximity to the road. There were multiple stains throughout the room including what appeared to be mold and dirt on the surface, stains and sticky residue on top of the refrigerator, dead roach carcass on carpet and the suite was very dusty. We were too tired to seek other accommodations so we stayed. The only positive was the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and we were told the rate would be adjusted to reflect the Military discount, it was not. There were no amenities (pool, continental breakfast, etc.). For the price, $177.12, I can not recommend this location. The following night we booked a beautiful suite at Marriott Homewood Suites in Richardson which included suite, pool, gym, continental breakfast and complimentary drinks and snacks. We got Marriot quality at a lower rate.

Bonnie and team are great. Our stay was extended several times and they always made it a breeze. Very thoughtful with surprise extras like popcorn and treats. She kept or kerig coffees supplied and was always ready to help with any needs. Would recommend to anybody needing a stay in Tool, TX. Bill and Barbara

Needs some updating and cleaning The bed was extremely hard and squeaky. The bath tub water filled the tub with black greasy stuff and I was unable to take a bath, after showing pictures to owner I was told it was the seals in faucet and the shower should be fine. I was finally able to stand and shower with the black stuff coming out. I was offered a discount on my next stay. Not sure I will ever stay again.

Perfect!! It was perfect. Bonnie made the check in process super easy. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything is well maintained and cute public areas. This is basic accommodations but the place is scrupulously clean, beds are comfortable and bath/shower better than most hotels. Real cable tv and Netflix - no Sling or other complicated system. The owner, Bonnie, is great and she really wants you to feel at home and goes out of her way to do so. We really enjoyed our stay.
