A pleasant stay and reasonably comfy. Location was reasonable. Car park was a bit full at times. Cooked Breakfast finishes early on weekdays (9.00) which they didn't inform me of.

The room seemed clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The water was hot for washing. The staff were amiable. Breakfast and dinner in the pub next door were good with plenty of choice and reasonably priced.

Generally has a feeling of gone to seed. Grubby carpets, no shaver point, no tumblers in the bathroom. Property feels "down-at-heel.

Bit disappointed with this Premier inn. Very small and tight car park which makes parking difficult. Rooms are shabby and definitely in need of an upgrade. Sweltering hot with no air conditioning and just a little fan. Quite noisy from fellow guests during the night led to a restless night. Good quality pub next door though.

This was the perfect overnight stay for us when attending a family members wedding nearby - the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the restaurant provided us with a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast and the garden was cool and pleasant in the hot weather for tea.

Definitely one of the smaller rooms I've had with PI, not helped by the lack of storage space which meant I spent the week tripping over my own suitcase that could only live on the floor with things still in it. That's the downside. On the upside, the comparatively low ceiling kept everything in proportion, everything worked and the view into the central courtyard garden was very pleasant. The real upside is with the attached restaurant - The Wateringbury - which is still a proper pub restaurant that is a destination in its own right. It's this that keeps me returning to this PI, not so much the room as the adjacent food. PI management take note!
