"When I first checked in and was assigned a room, I found myself having to go down stairs. My luggage was so heavy that I couldn't even imagine carrying it up and down the stairs, so I asked the reception to change rooms. Fortunately, since it was around 3-4 PM, the check-in time, they gave me a room without stairs. The hotel is old, so it's not terribly clean, but it was acceptable. However, the rooms tend to be quite dusty. Dust accumulated in the cracks and corners, and when I woke up in the morning, dust would settle on my phone or tablet screen. Two 330ml bottles of water were provided daily, which was a nice touch. The hotel's location, adjacent to Plaza Toledo, was excellent."

The air conditioning system is not working. The only hotel we booked at with no air conditioning for 3 days. So we had to open the windows, hoping that no bird would fly in while we were sleeping."
