Shinjuku Granbell Hotel Reviews

Location was in heart of Shinjuku, however it is still quite a walk to the station. That said , Shinjuku station is very big. The room is not that spacious, but given Tokyo hotels are v small, the size is quite ok, there was a small table and chair cosy enough for 2 people. Small space to open luggage and walk around but it's ok. Need to check in ourselves which was not so convient. Check in at 11 and they gave us a room which was readily available and we appreciated that very much .

Rooms are really small, for two people standard one it’s not comfortable at all. If you’ve claustrophobia try to find another one. I’m totally disappointed with this place.

Service was great! Our original room had a weird smell that wouldn’t go away - reception staff promptly checked it out and moved us to a different room. Rooms are small but standard for Japan - we could open and pack 2 large suitcases (although quite tight). Location was good although we didn’t realise it was in the *** ***** ******** when booking.

Located in the heart of Kabukicho, the hotel is approximately a 10-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station and about 5 minutes from Higashi-Shinjuku Subway Station. Good hotel and strategis place

Nice location, quiet, clean room. Staffs are friendly and be able to communicate smoothly.

It was cute and had a nice roof bar. The breakfast was also decent having western options. Room was small but nice.

Room was a little bit too small to open up 2 luggages, though can’t complain too much for the price.

Nice hotel with a fairly spacious room. Really great location just a few short minutes walk from Golden Gai. Staff were nice. Room was clean and fairly new. Good amenities like a laundry service at the front desk, but also coin laundries on the 2nd floor if you want to do your laundry yourself. Would recommend this hotel for Tokyo.

Hotel is a short walk to Shinjuku Golden Gai. We were lucky enough to be able to check in early. However, our room was very small and dim. There wasn't any space to open our 28" suitcase fully.

Loved the stay! Perfectly located in Shinjuku and just a short walk to the nearest metro station. The room was cozy and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
