Sakura Cross Hotel Shinjuku East Annex Reviews

Booked a room for 4 people at Sakura Cross Hotel Shinjuku East Annex for a night after our Fujisan trip and before flying home. It was a very comfortable stay and all of us slept soundly. We were happy with how spacious the hotel room was considering this hotel was in Shinjuku. Check-in & check-out procedures were self-service and very easy and convenient. The only downside is that the walk from Shinjuku Station to the hotel was about 20 minutes, so it can feel like forever if you're walking with luggage. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The check-in time which is a little bit late in the afternoon is not welcoming for travellers, specially that here is no luggage room/ storage. The room is just enough for a family of 4. Just ok for an overnight stay.

Location is too far away from Shinjuku, even walking from Shinjuku East subway exit.

The bath is super neat & super updated. Very impressive interior. So worth the trip. Sakura Cross Hotel is quality & value for money. Complete with amenities. Within walking distance from Higashi-Shinjuku Station & Fukutoshin Line to Hachiko & Shibuya Scramble Crossing; Lawson (for your extra essentials) & Tully’s (for a cup of brew & sandwiches). Charming neighborhood & very accessible. Thank you to Ms. Tam & Rion-San for the impeccable customer service. Really appreciate it. Your client service is royalty.

It’s quite far from the metro station

We love the hotel so much. Near to the train station and convenient store.

The location is remote and inconvenient. The room I booked during the holiday was too expensive and not worth it at all. It was very inconvenient and troublesome to check in without a front desk. Later, the staff helped to check in. It took an hour. It was a very bad experience. I booked for three days and wanted to cancel and book again on the second day. My family didn't want to waste money and stayed for another night. The bed didn't seem to have been changed. I felt itchy when I slept for a few days. Later, I asked them to change the sheets, but the quilt was not changed and it was itchy all night. If you check in, you must tell them to change everything. I will not stay here next time.

The room is on the basement floor. This should explain that if you lie down from the outside you can see inside. Japanese rooms are very narrow. We booked a four-person room for more than 2,000 yuan. It feels very worthwhile if it is not a regular hotel. If you know it is not a regular hotel, it will be just like an unattended apartment. The check-in form is also very complicated. You have to sit down by yourself. The most terrible thing is that you have to check in at 4 o'clock. This has been very difficult to encounter in all these years. I didn't see it at all. Everyone should pay attention to this issue. Another thing is that I arrived at noon and found that the check-in time was wrong. I wanted to store my luggage, but I was refused. I talked for a long time and the rules said that it was not allowed. It's terrible to think about it. What if I was not allowed to store the luggage, I didn't know where to put the things for four people. It was too inconvenient. I absolutely don't think the business is from the perspective of travelers. The travel experience is zero points. When you can't even see that it is a hotel, you already feel like a sucker. Please avoid it.

The room is wider than expected. The staff are very cute. The return fee from the school also includes a heating bag for use. The rooms are clean and fully equipped.

Excellent, suitable for family stay the room is not very big But not very small, the room is clean, the surrounding area has many convenience stores and restaurants. Medium distance from the train station able to walk Most importantly, the staff are friendly and helpful.

It was very clean and the bed was Simmons and comfortable, but it was difficult to operate the lighting panel and the check-in was unmanned, so I had a hard time getting in because I was staying in a 6-person room with 4 people because registration wasn't completed.
