Sakura Hotel Hatagaya Reviews

Took forever to find. Trip didn't mention that it was very close to Hatagawa. I went to the station they said it was near. Took forever to get to. Hotel is odd but okay. Small little place. Room was decent. Nice shower and got a decent sleep despite the bed being a bit hard. Thin walls but the earplugs did the trick. Pretty cool little area. Liked it there. "Breakfast" was not much. Would stay again for the price and area

Nice little hotel two quick stops away from Shinjuku. Good location, close to the station and konbini. Rooms are clean but a tight squeeze. If you are travelling in a couple, you'll need good flexibility and communication to navigate the room + luggage + shopping bags test each day. Staff are friendly and helpful. Check in and out is easy.

You get what you can expect from a 2-star hotel. Very clean, Staff is friendly and helpful. The matras on the bed need a replacement. Room 701

Really small room but that’s how it is in Tokyo. Clean hotel and great location only steps from the subway. Cute breakfast mostly toast and coffee

The location of the Sakura hotel is good , great service …

It’s a small room but the location is quite convenient. The post office is downstair. The breakfast is fixed for a bread, jam, butter, chocolate/peanut butter, coffee, tea and daily special soup. There are 4 Coins washing machines and 4 dryer machines but some couldn’t use.

Perfect hotel for a low budget. It’s nice it’s clean it’s right next to metro station. We had a great stay. Don’t book breakfast though as it’s not worth it.

Overall I was satisfied. I especially liked the breakfast that was included and it was delicious. However, the wind outside was strong and the noise made it hard to sleep. I hope they improve this.

I stayed here for 3 nights. It was my first time staying at this hotel, and I was worried because it was not a major hotel chain, but although the rooms and facilities were old, they were clean and I have no complaints. It was very convenient that it was only about 1 minute from Hatagaya Station. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

The place is a bit remote and not easy to find, and the bedroom seems to have only one light source, a desk lamp.

It's quite comfortable, well-located, and the staff is friendly. The facilities are a bit dated. It does get a bit chilly, but the hot air makes it manageable. And it's pretty bright from 5 a.m. onward, hehe, but it's still pretty good.

There are few amenities in the room, but you can borrow various items at the front desk. I borrowed a deodorant spray and a tissue box. A 1,000 yen deposit is required to borrow a charging cable (this is returned when you return the device). When I stayed there before, a lot of my clothes got wet in the rain, so I borrowed hangers. There was more sliced ​​cheese at the free breakfast, so I put it on bread and made cheese toast in the toaster provided. Boiled cheese was also available, but it cost 100 yen and you could pay with PayPay etc.
