Very impressed with Hotel Monday Okachimachi. It was modern, tasteful, clean, and thoughtfully arranged

Ueno nearny very convenient to anywhere by subway. Free wine and tea on sky bar on 14 floor. Can watch outside city scene by large window.

Quite good location, walkable to metro, JR, shopping area and restaurants. The staffs at the hotel were excellent!

Everything all great 👍 Great view from 14th floor to enjoying fireworks festival on July Except the small and very thin pillows, it’s make me got bad back pain 😭

Very comfortable hotel in the middle of Ueno area. Location is near to metro station and convenience store.

Location of hotel is super convenient having access to multiple major metro lines within walking distance. Cleanliness is below average as when we check in on 1st day, we need to request for room to be cleaned again. Putting aside the room condition, there is many varietiies of food options available throughout the day from morning till late nite.. theres a cute standing noodle place juz 2nins away that serves affordable soba/udon tempura.

1. This should consider changing the hairdryer it’s extremely dirty 2. Bit far from sub 3. One of the front desk insist on asking for one of our passport upon checkout while we’re already late for our flight. Kinda rude 4. Checkout time too early for 10am 5.most amenities are old and dirty 6. Was asking the cleaning lady to clean our room but didn’t do so after coming back to hotel

Not the best but not the worst! Our room was very crampy as we booked a three bedded room. The staff was very nice to assist us in checking in (almost midnight), and spoke to us in chinese after seeing where we came from. Unfortunately, due to their eco friendly movement, if you request to make your room fully, they will not provide you with free mineral water bottles and you would have to pay for it. We requested for 2 usb cables for free as we did not have the same ones provided in the room. I think there are better options out there for the price we paid but it cant be helped during the peak cherry blossom season.

This is a award winning hotel. 7-eleven Convenient stores are just nearby 2mins. Toilet and Bathroom is split, so 2 person can use at the same time. Very spacious for Tokyo standard. Hotel staff very helpful and polite. Will return again for next stay. 4mins walk to typical Japanese restaurant with economical price. Where you can try all the Japanese cuisine at one shop. Very comfortable place to stay.

Good location. Very clean. Close to the transport. Ideal for a few days.

Stayed for a week. Employees spoke English and Mandarin. Easy check in and out. Room was on the 11th floor. Despite a freeway and subway line below, the noise was kept out by the great insulated windows. Room was clean. We got the two twin beds with the couch. When we arrived, I was pleased that they converted the couch to a made bed, so three people could sleep comfortably. Bathroom was nice. The shower was good sized and water pressure strong. They have laundry on the second floor (we did not use it). We took the Skyliner to the Ueno station and walked to the hotel (about 10-15 minute walk). We had the JAL delivery service deliver our three large suitcases the next day. Staff held it for use while we explored the city. Cost was about $14 US per suitcase. Overall good location. The H line was steps from the hotel. My wife loved the morning buffet. We would stay again.
