"I had to cancel my trip due to transportation issues and the amount of travel time involved. I contacted both the hotel and Trip.com to explain my situation. During the booking process, there was no “Book Now, Pay Later” option available—only a “Reserve & Pay” option, which left me no choice but to pay immediately. When I called the hotel directly, the front desk staff informed me that they would have been able to offer a refund if I had booked directly with the hotel. I believe the same level of flexibility should be applied across all booking platforms. Unfortunately, this experience has been disappointing. I’ve learned my lesson and will no longer be using this platform for future bookings. Thank you."

"Our room directly faced the ocean, and it was absolutely stunning! The hotel assigned us room A001, which was the closest to the front desk, saving my elderly parents the hassle of walking too far. You could go snorkeling and see fish right outside the door. Equipment rental was 15 MYR per day, so you didn't need to bring anything. We booked the 12 PM boat departure. After checking out at 11:30 AM, we went to the pier and saw sharks and lots of fish. The sea was incredibly beautiful! Next time, if I have more time, I'll definitely stay on the island for a few more days. Also, a big shout-out to the hotel's seafood restaurant – it was delicious and not expensive! Highly recommended!"

"Great environment. Relaxing and doable. Great Sunrise except for occasional overcast. The beach is white. The size of the room is comfortable. Beds are big. The deluxe room has a small balcony which leads to the swimming pool and dining hall. The room is not the cleanest. Saw some baby cockroaches running around the bathroom. The pillows are way too soft. The Aircon power is very weak Occasional power trips. There are a few dive shops along the way. Good selection for divers who wants different experience diving around Juara. Food prices are average. There is a roti canai shop mia cafe. Which sells out out very quickly. Be on time at 7am if you want to try it."

"Excellent location where hotel provide buggy services from room to any location inside the resort. Staff were all friendly and helpful with our needs. Delivering of items when we requesting also very timely. Reception counter also provide snorkelling, diving, and other water sports booking with reasonable charges. Renting of equipment also available if needed. However, the sofa appeared to be a bit dusty below the cushion. Ants were seen inside the toilet sink. Otherwise the experience will be even more better."

"The location is in the quaint non touristy ABC village frequented exclusively by backpackers and French families. You will need to carry your baggage to the accommodation on a rough busy narrow pathway frequented by motorbike traffic upon arrival and for departure. It will cost you a minimum of 20 ringgit to go anywhere on the island by motorbike taxi or 40 ringgit to catch a water taxi so be prepared to eat the same poor quality sometimes fetid food in sweltering conditions at a limited number of restaurants in the village. Do not expect any induction at the resort unless you are not undertaking a dive course. The admin staff who checked me in didn’t even know that I had breakfast included in my rate which incidentally is served in a nearby restaurant. Don’t expect access to the pool which is the exclusive domain of the divers. You will not be allowed to join the dive resort boats if you wish to go snorkeling. Rather, you will be referred to one of two spurious snorkelling tour operators Restu Chalet and ABC chalet where the boats will be crammed full of people exceeding the licensed limits and where the boatmen will take zero safety steps to ensure your passenger safety or compliance with maritime regulations. In my case I received no support getting in and out of the boat in medium to heavy seas and was abandoned whilst snorkelling on a reef at the last stop when the captain moved the boat to the shore to party alongside a boat full of scantily clad backpackers. I ended up with heat stroke and spent the following day reporting regulatory breaches to the authorities."
