A small group of us (three sets of couples) recently visited Port William for 3 nights. The staff were incredibly welcoming and could not be more helpful. The premises were idyllic, being a stones throw away from the beach! And the food was stunning! I cannot recommend this place enough if you are considering having a relaxing stay in Cornwall!

Everything with the accommodation was wonderful. On our initial arrival, we were shown to our room, then were shown the fire escape routes. We were then asked if we wanted a reservation for dinner as we'd travelled over 200 miles to the inn. Breakfast every morning was lovely with the window tables used every morning so you could watch the waves as brekkie was eaten. Housekeeping and hospitality teams also must get a mention as it was my 55th, but wasn't mentioned. Housekeeping must have seen my birthday cards whilst tidying our room, which then resulted in us returning to our room to find balloons, a card and two small bottles of wine with glasses. Thankyou so much and we look forward to returning. We already miss going to sleep and not hearing the waves every night with the window open..

This is the second time at the Port William and once again a great time, good food, good service and along fire and a pint after a coastal walk. Staff are helpful and wonderful breakfast, good atmosphere a very nice few days for my sister's birthday surprise. Once again thanks so much and see you next time, Dave Skyrme.

Had the most fantastic stay here for my boyfriend’s birthday. The food was absolutely brilliant. We ate off the normal menu a couple of times and also tried the valentines menu that was available. All of which was absolutely delicious. The view from the room was great and so was the room itself. It was lovely and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The pub itself has a lovely warm atmosphere however it might be nice to have a couple of board games that guests could play in the evening. In peak season I can see why this wouldn’t be an option but during the winter it would have been nice to play something. Thanks again for a lovely stay ☺️

We had a wonderful stay. Ben the assistant manager was very attentive but not intrusive and when I had a very minute issue he listened respectfully and offered a solution. The place was very clean and the food was delicious. We have stayed many, many times and having those sea views and the fact the place is small, cosy and inviting keeps us going back. The bedrooms are beautiful all with a sea theme. We had the king room where there was plenty of space and lots of amenities available. The bed is very comfy, the only issue I had was I could hear a low hum sound through the pillows coming from downstairs, when mentioned they apologised and looked in to what it could be ( I am a light sleeper) it was not a deal breaker though, vwe will definitely be staying again but perhaps not the king room!

We had three nights at the amazing Port William. It was the most breathtaking view from many areas of the pub and we had a sea view room that was well appointed if a little on the small side. We had many pints and other drinks there and prices were just ok. We ate once and really enjoyed the choice and taste. Price wise it seemed similar to most places now. The staff were great and they all made you feel welcome and they had time to chat about the area. Breakfasts had a good choice and were eaten with that amazing view tostart your day. We will be looking to go back next year.

We were booked in for two nights and it was all great from checking in 'til departure. The staff were friendly and helpful, we loved the room and thought the food was great. The pub is ideally situated for coastal walks too. We will definitely be returning!

Our first visit to Port William but not our last. Friendly greeting, charming room with sea view. The food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious and we particularly enjoyed having a pre dinner drink in front of the log fire. All the staff were friendly and professional and we couldn't fault a thing. Many thanks
