Super 8 by Wyndham Marshalltown

This was one of the worst experiences I've had. I got accused of doing something they did not even asking facts to find out what happened, the staff was rude, very snoopy in my business trying to see every move I made it was a very uncomfortable feeling. The whole upstairs smells like Food they had been cooking from India. The whole family lives in the first couple of rooms. They come out and stare at u every time u leave ur room. It feels like u are in a facility were u have to check in and be watched at all times. U would think they would have something better to do than to torment the guests. Then every room has something non working in it. I also found a little tiny camera connected to the tv under the censor light. That is unacceptable. That is the first thing I'm looking at now when I go into any other room from now on! But I sure won't be staying at the super8 ever again. Very disturbing experience. Beware this is not acceptable for any business!

Pros: bed was comfortable, coffee was good. Cons: ceiling was peeling all over in the bathroom, ceiling dirty in room, rust on metal surfaces in bathroom, no ventilation for the moisture to escape. Empty Kleenex box in bathroom, no tray to hold coffee pods in the room coffee maker. Just felt grungy and dirty. Price was right, you get what you pay for.

I called to reserve as we were coming through Iowa. I gave credit card for two rooms. when checking in me and another couple each were going to pay for a room. i told that to clerk as he was checking us in. at the end he charged me for both rooms and did not say he could correct it just "ohh".

Easy to get too. They need to update. Place wasn't clean.

Easy on and off highway system.

Too bad costumer service
