Nous avons réservé avec des amis un séjour de 3 nuits dans cette endroit pour la somme d'environ 3000€. Nous sommes tombés dans une gréve des transports (et des avions) suite à la gréve des pompiers et donc nous avons eu l'impossibilité de venir sur Tikehau et cela n'était pas de notre fait. Nous avons donc expliqué notre situation et nous avons eu une proposition de décalé nos dates ce qu'on ne pouvais malheureusement pas faire car dans un voyage comme celui de la Polynésie il est difficile et très coûteux de modifier ce voyage. Suite à cela nous avons donc proposer de notre part de faire 50/50 sur le remboursement pour que personne ne soit trop impacté par cette situation. Nous avons reçu des réponses négatives malgré nos multiples relances avec des arguments complètement irrecevable (c'est comme ça, c'est le contrat, c'est nos conditions...) Nous avons ensuite reçu un "avoir" de 18 mois pour revenir sur Tikehau... Il est vrai que nous pouvons revenir en Polynésie chaque année... la blague (nous ne sommes pas américain). On nous a également dit de faire un email au gouvernement Polynésien... n'importe quoi... pour ce dédouaner... Nous sommes donc sur une réservation à plus de 3000€, perdu complètement pour une prestation pas du tout effectué. Comment avoir si peu d'empathie face à cette situation? C'est assez incroyable. Si vous devez réserver dans cet établissement, espérer que tout ce passe bien, sachant que ces gréves sont visiblement assez récurrente, sinon vous n'aurez rien en retour...

WATCH OUT! Super bad vibes and super sneaky… If you didn’t make it early for breakfast it would run out… no fruits no jams no cheeses no breads…. And if you made it late to breakfast they wouldn’t even make you eggs although you payed for it because it’s included… also I mistakenly put only one person when I reserved and payed through *******..: DONT make that mistake because once there the extra rate they charge per person per night is way higher then the price in *******… I was charged 1500$ for three nights wen ******* price for my specific room was 306$ and added the other person would literally just be 1000$ I told her she didn’t care when I asked I shared my strange experience to my dive guide he told me horrible stories of previous clientes being mistreated… and multiple complaints… example a lady finding RATS nest in the room and instead of being given option to change room the lady said well this is the jungle what do you expect so she said look my younger daughter and I will change hotel tomorrow she said okay but NO REFUND! For me personally she screamed SHHH as I was trying to ask why she was over charging and telling her that she should have let us pay from the start when we said but she INSISTED we pay in the end… obviously because she knew she would be overcharging and in the end there is not much to be done but if from the start we had known we would have just fixed the reservation on ******* and payed online the normal rate… I DONT RECOMEND this place at all

We tried to reach the hotel through every possible channel—WhatsApp, the owner’s direct WhatsApp, email, the website contact form, multiple phone numbers, and even Instagram messages—countless times, but we never managed to speak to anyone. After dozens of attempts over several days, we were left completely in the dark. The lack of response forced us to spend an entire morning working with my credit card insurance to secure a last-minute alternative hotel. This was incredibly stressful and time-consuming—exactly what you want to avoid while on vacation. This experience raises serious concerns about whether Ninamu is even operational. At best, it’s poorly managed; at worst, it could be a scam. Either way, I strongly advise travelers to avoid this property if they want an stress-free and reliable vacation. 2 nuits et 3 jours entiers parfaits sur le motu.
Personnel hyper sympa ce qui rend le moment convivial. Les activités proposées par l’hôtel sont top. Le chef de cuisine est top.
Un vrai bonheur. Je recommande vivement.
