Waters Edge

We enjoyed a fantastic 3-day stay at Water’s Edge with our 6-year-old. The views were breathtaking, and we were warmly welcomed by Tom. Martin was incredibly helpful—not only assisting with our luggage during our stay, but also patiently answering my husband’s questions over the phone before we even booked. His attentiveness was a big reason we chose this hotel. Breakfast was delicious, always on time, and beautifully prepared, and the housekeeping team kept our room spotless. Truly a 5-star experience—we can’t wait to return!

Amazing rooms with stunning views, a patio with fire heaters that overlooks San Francisco, incredible service. Snacks and beverages at Happy Hour, home made cookies in the evening, and breakfast brought to your room. This was our second overnight stay here, and once again, was the treat for the year. It's pricey, but worth every penny.

Waters Edge in Tiburon was wonderful. I really enjoyed my 2 night stay. The 5:00 wine hour (2 hours) was the best. We sat out on the back deck overlooking the water! Gorgeous. Breakfast choices were great AND there is a toaster in your room for those of us who like toasted bagels! Martin and Tom at the desk made our stay especially nice! They were helpful, friendly, and had good suggestions. Hope to go back some day!

I have stayed here a few times in the past with a wonderful room and great experiences. Its usually a place where I can decompress. This was the first time I booked it with award points from my credit card. My reservation was for a deluxe room but was given a basic room. I know this because I have booked a deluxe room on my 3 previous stays. When I went back to the front desk he said it was a deluxe room and even though the photos on the booking site showed it as a basic room he said he couldn’t move me because they were booked. The front desk person said it was booked through ******* and that is what you are given. So I decided I had to make the best of it. The restaurant next door, Malibu Farms was really good. Had a great artichoke pizza. Lots of fresh food. Then the room next to me, the guests were super loud all night. They kept their balcony door open, which connected to mine. I had to keep by balcony door open a bit because it was so stuffy in my room and the AC didn’t seem to be working. The guests in the room next to mine continued to be super loud until 3:30 am at what time I finally tried calling the front desk to complain. No one answered the phone and had to leave a message. Needless to say, I was awake the rest of the night. I had ordered and early breakfast the night before, which comes with the room. I left early and took a drive north. When I got back at noon, the front desk person said he spoke with the manager and wanted to upgrade my room for the inconveniences I experienced. The room they upgraded me to has a beautiful view and its own pretty large balcony. This is why I keep coming back here whenever I’m in the area. Thank you!

Every single thing about our visit at Water's Edge was perfect! The hotel is so well-appointed and comfortable. The amenities are so thoughtful and make every day so special! From the complementary breakfasts with a different delicious pastry every day to the wine in the evenings and even the cookies later at night...just beautiful little touches everywhere you look! The deck overlooking the bay is a perfect place to relax...what a glorious view! The staff were generous and kind and responsive. Every single person we encountered added to the experience.
