It was a great stay. The boss was very welcoming. If the standard room was not available, we upgraded to two single rooms for free. The food was also delicious. I will come again if I have the chance.

The first night was miserable. It was the first time for a novice driver to travel Sichuan-Tibet Highway 318 just for this inn. We were supposed to stay in Ya'an when it was still daylight. Soon after we left Ya'an, it was getting darker and darker. There were only big trucks. We drove to our destination with trepidation, but the gate was locked and arranged to stay at the boss's relative's house. The room was musty and unclean, the bedding was damp and there were many bugs. We had to go back to the car to sleep the next day. However, the weather was much better after staying one night at the Benzun inn. Although the environment was still simple, the diligence of the proprietress was completely different: I saw her boiling water and cleaning the whole day. The bedding felt much better. There were too many bugs when I turned on the lights and windows, but there were too few. She was very considerate and helped me turn on the corridor lights and the bathroom lights on the second floor for me to brush my teeth when I went downstairs. Although I don't go there very often because it is easy for bugs to get in when I open the door, and now I am the only resident on the second floor of the inn, so I feel more at ease indoors.
