Great hotel, nice town!

The hotel is partially under renovation and the restaurant is closed. Nice yeah, but ok. If you plan to come on a Tuesday, keep in mind that all restaurants are closed, except 1 which is obviously fully booked (Sudhaus), and the closest open is at 7 km away. That’s what I have been proposed at the reception, careless about the fact I had just drove 700 km and the last thing I wanted was to take my car again. Not even a biergarten around, the absolute nothingness. It’a not the hotel’s fault. But is it possible not to ensure to the guests the possibility to have dinner somewhere in town ?

Entrance somewhat daunting with noisy major renovations upon arrival in mid-afternoon. Compensated for by the receptionist bringing us both mugs of excellent local beer to our room. Rooms light and bright and nicely modernized.

Das Schloss ist in einem TOP-Zustand. Wir waren begeistert. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber, alles vorhanden. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war außergewöhnlich vielseitig. ... und die Kulisse, insbesondere am Abend ... wunderschön wir kommen bald wieder
