Gorgeous overnight stay in the Dragonfly room. The room was super comfy with very tasty shortbread biscuits and a sepeate room for reading/relaxing. At dinner, my partner has eaten a lot of burgers, and said it was the best one she has had, and the aranchi side dish was delicious. The very tasty bread, and home made granola at breakfast, along with the fry up, was a perfect start to the day. Jack and his team could not have been more helpful throughout our stay. Fantastic location with an evening beach walk, an afternoon looking round the shops, and chips and battered prawns along the seafront for a late lunch.

Just back from a lovely weekend at The Orange Tree Thornham thank you for a lovely stay ~ breakfast & dinner was delicious and your staff are a credit to you ❤️ the area is lovely with several beautiful beaches nearby. Just down the road another lovely place to visit is The Drove with a little haven of shops to mooch around. Would love to stay again soon ❤️

My father and I visited after not being able to travel for quite some time. The Orange Tree has always been a firm favourite when visiting North Norfolk and once again did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered the fish and chips and the portion size made it great value for money. Crispy batter surrounding fresh, flaky cod; triple cooked skin-on chips; tartar sauce and a mini saucepan of curry dipping sauce. The attention to detail and relaxed, friendly atmosphere made for a wonderful trip down memory lane.

We eat here whenever we come to North Norfolk but this visit completely surpassed any other visit. The menu is creative, using lots of fresh, local produce with a twist on some well know dishes. The staff here work together as a real team and they should be very proud of what they’ve achieved.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just wanted to post and say we had the most amazing lunch today. There chose the two course menu and had a delicious blackened mackerel for mains and crème brûlée for desert. My husband had crispy chilli chicken pancakes that were like tacos and he said it was beautiful. Prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Fantastic lunch

I had booked two rooms and the hotel rang me asking me to cancel one as there had been an error and it had let me book a room which had already been previously booked in November as a result there were not two rooms available. I appreciate there can be errors especially not booking direct however I am very disappointed and I had to inform the lady who rang me really they should cancel it as it was not my error despite her repeatedly telling me to cancel it. Disappointed with the lack of apology and the negligent customer service I received as I was made to feel like I had made the error though all I did was pay for a service I did not receive.

A nice visit to a pub we were passing. Good parking even if the turn off the road is sharp. The food was excellent with good service and quick delivery. The Fish & Chip was excellent with good portions, nice fish and large chips. The vegan starter one of the party had I am told was very nice. There was no obvious vegan main course which was a shame. The prices were not outrageously expensive but neither are they the cheapest. About what you'd expect for the quality of the food. Note of caution regarding the WiFi. With 19 rooms, loads of guests and a rural location, the WiFi is slow if you do manage to get attached. All in all a very pleasant visit and much to recommend it.
