1. Написано, что заселение с 12:00 - не верьте! Мы приехали где-то в 12:15 и еще около часа ждали, пока уберут номер, в который нас планировалось заселить
2. При бронировании нигде не было указано, что номер наш находится под лестницей чуть ли не в куче мусора (фото территории рядом с номером прилагаю). Когда мы пришли к номеру, вокруг были кучи мусора, лежали сменные матрасы и постельное белье
3. Девушки на ресепшн долго вообще не пытались понять, в чем проблема, только после того, как мы сфотографировали всю грязь, предложили нам номер на 1500 за ночь дороже, но, по крайней мере, не на помойке
4. Основная часть отеля в целом, нормальная, но находится на горе - от моря до гостиницы минут 10 пешком вертикально вверх, это надо учитывать, подниматься в жару очень сложно, шаттлы отелем не предусмотрены.
5. Полное несоответствие цены-качества. В округе достаточно много гостиниц по более привлекательной цене и с более высоким качеством и уровнем предоставляемых услуг.

We had an amazing stay at Sagara Beach Resort, Kovalam. The management was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. Everything was well-organized, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Very highly overpriced. Rooms and hallways are very very ordinary and ancient for the price. Air conditioner was not working. Quality of seating in restaurant was also very cheap and without air conditioning. Food was alright, though. Swimming pool seemed deep enough for adults to only be able to dip their legs. Overall, highly overpriced property which requires some serious renovation.

This is a decent hotel right opposite to the beach. Though it's very near from the beach all rooms may not have a beach view. Some portion of the building is quite old and the rooms are not very upgraded. The AC and other gadgets appear to be very old style in the rooms. The rooms are very clean and toilets are also fresh. The staff in the hotel is quite friendly and the hotel has ample parking space. This hotel has a restaurant which is even though big enough, falls short due to the number of rooms in the hotel. Surprisingly the hotel serves more of north Indian food and very less of local food. So Kerala food lovers may have to lookout for a different place for their lunch and dinner. This is a good hotel but will definitely not be my first choice if I visit kovalam once again. It was raining when we went to this hotel but they dont provide umbrella to reach to your room and have to walk in rains and wet floor near swimming pool. Stayed for 2 nights at the the end of an Intrepid Travel South India Tour. Public areas are good. Rooms and bathrooms are very tired but clean. Room had good veranda with views over the nice pool/terrace area and sea. Friendly helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was okay but a little chaotic taking ages waiting for items to be replenished. Had dinner served outside on the terrace with my group one night which was very good. It's well situated with views over the sea and an easy walk to the beach with a large selection of restaurants, shops etc. On the whole enjoyed my stay but 2 nights were enough here for me.

Room upkeep was very poor, untidy, staff response slow - had to call for anything twice at least. Room had spider webs and it had very heavy sound of exhaust fan. One can find other better resort and even having direct excess to shore easily.
