The Old oak tree is a 5* business from start to finish the accommodation is warm and welcoming with everything you need comfortable bed sofa teas coffees ect including a fridge lovely soft towels and a Powerful shower .the Bar service and restaurant service is 1st class hospitality.The food is all freshly cooked and a vast choice to suit all diets and taste buds and always served with a smile . breakfast options are also excellent. I fully recommend to anyone the Old oak tree for a stop over or even just pop in when passing and try the food which is very reasonably priced

Friendly and welcoming staff Spacious rooms, lovely bathrooms Great location as you can walk into Thirsk. The food is fantastic. I highly recommend eating in the pub but you must book as its very popular with locals! Pet friendly. Lots of parking beside the accommodation. Very comfortable beds. The best free WiFi and I couldn't fault it. As my first ever solo trip I didn't feel awkward and will definitely be back!

Fab Pub and service ! Highly recommend the Parmo ! Great outside area for the sunny days A nice little walk from Mowbray cottages and glamping Pods which is also a great find. Great range of food options available on the menu . We will be back for another Parmo

Great room. Clean and comfortable. Great beds and towels. Good water pressure. Lots of local information. Close to everything. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Best meals of our trip! Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

What a fabulous find this place was, lovely spacious clean room and all you need available. with the main Pub/restaurant a few steps away, where the staff are very accommodating and friendly, we would highly recommend this little jewel. Easy to find even for the novice traveller just off A19, and ideally situated for exploring Yorkshire or as a pit stop on your travels , when we are up that way again we will definitely be booking a stay

Another great meal! Staff are super friendly and very attentive. The place was busy but we were still made to feel very welcome. Overnight accommodation was also very good. Comfortable, clean and all of the amenities you would hope for (Shower facilities were excellent).

What a fabulous find this place was, lovely clean room and all you need available. Pub next door and nothing too big or small, very accommodating and I would highly recommend. Easy to find and central for exploring Yorkshire, if we are up that way again would definitely book here

Friendly greeting and very helpful staff on my on arrival. Room clean and spacious with a large ensuite. very good facilities in the room, ironing board with an iron and a small fridge to. Good menu in the bar and tasty.

We stayed for six nights at this delightful hotel and pub , conveniently situated between the Yorkshire Dales and Yorkshire Moors National Park. The accommodation was very comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee etc. in the room. The breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty and we also ate in the pub every night, which had a wide range of delicious dishes, which we enjoyed very much. The staff were so helpful and nice, especially Joe ( aka the human dynamo! 😂) and nothing was too much trouble for them, even though the pub was very popular and busy every night ( which is an excellent sign!) Many thanks for making our stay such a pleasant one; we thoroughly enjoyed it and would heartily recommend this hotel and pub to anyone visiting the area.
