Hotel Astoria ★★
Costa Smeralda ★★★★
"As soon as we entered our room, bathroom floor was wet (and not just a little, I mean splashing wet). Upon inspection it was because of a broken pipe under our sink. We informed the reception (took some time to find anyone, since “the reception” is a mostly empty kiosk next to the parking lot) and they said maintenance would come the next day and they don’t have another room. So we spent our first day with wet very slippery floor. Also our bathroom lamp was not working and neither was the soap dispenser. In the second morning our toilet didn’t flush. Still no possibility to change the room, instead we had a repair guy occupying our room for half a day so we (two adults and two young kids) had to use the public toilet by the pool for our needs, to change the clothes etc. When the repair guy left, he left his trash on the grass in font of our door, a random chair in our bathroom and our door open. Now our toilet flushed, but was leaking, so we still had a wet floor and no possibility to get a new room. The pool bar was expensive and free drinking water is not included with your stay. Since the closest store was 15 minute uphill & downhill walk in 35c heat away, we felt it was a very unfair for your hotel customers to have to pay for water and they charged 3€ for a scoop of ice cream for the kids. The breakfast reminded a hostel and not a 4* hotel. They only had 5 warm options and the trays were constantly empty even an hour before the breakfast ended. On the third day, still with a wet bathroom floor, not a working light and not a working soap dispenser, they said we could get a new room on the next day (our 4th day, meaning we would have to spend over half of our vacation in the room with a broken bathroom). We asked for a compensation for all the inconvenience (not being able to use our room for many hours, not being able to relax due to constantly looking for someone to speak to and get information (the reception kiosk was empty most times as the same woman was also serving at the pool, working the kitchen etc… ). On the fourth day we were promised a refund for all the mess, but could finally relax a little bit for the last few nights of our stay. Things I’d like to point out: … there are trash bags, boxes, tools, old furniture, broken things etc laying around the property. … don’t go with health issues, disabilities, babies or elderly people as you have to climb steep hills to get to breakfast, pool, the beach, the village etc. … the furniture is dated and there’s not much room for clothes (for 4 people we had one closet with 6-8 hangers, two small shelves and no drawers) … when you move the chairs by the pool to catch more sun (the umbrellas don’t close, so the chairs are in the shade), you get told off. … there is very salty sea water in the pool, it stings the eyes and strips the skin. The sides and bottom of the pool are greenish and slimy. … in some downstairs rooms, you can’t enter the balcony from your room, but have to go arou"

Theasis Hotel Paramythia ★★★★
"Exceptional hotel !! A 5 star experience in the heart of Epirus region at Paramythia . Amazing hotel with luxurious rooms, aesthetics, premium amenities, great views friendly and professional staff. Great location. Feels like heaven I deal base for exploring near beaches, trekking, canoeing , Acheron river ( protected for its ecosystem ) Ancient ruins, Castles, the Bulgari jewellery museum and school ,etc 20' from national port 30' from Parga /Syvota 40' from Ioannena"
Angelika Pallas Hotel ★★★
"Arriving from Athens by bus, we were truly fortunate to be able to find two rooms; a taxi from the bus station cost only 5 euros. The location is fantastic for convenience, as we need to catch the ferry to Brindisi; I'd give it 5 stars for that. In the immediate vicinity—about 30 meters—there's a travel agency, pharmacy, tobacconist, three tavernas, and two bars. It's an unpretentious hotel, albeit dated, but convenient for a stopover. Breakfast is poor, with plastic cups. Again, not for a vacation, but for catching the ferry, there's nothing better, so don't expect much. Forewarned is forearmed."
Aqua Oliva Resort Syvota ★★★★
"This is a hotel which management have abandoned their duties. There are many signs of poor to zero maintenance. The AC filter in our room had not been cleaned and the room therefore stunk of old cigarette smoke. The grassed areas surrounding the walkways were long and unkept, the pools, notwithstanding numerous complaints on this platform, although sparkling clear the walls and side tiles where covered in green algae and slimy to the touch even the safety foot pads on the steps were missing. The hotel is very obviously short staffed so although the staff are pleasant and extremely helpful there are just not enough personnel to even begin to supply the service expected in a 4 star establishment. The breakfast was not great and again did not represent a 4 star establishment. All in all the hotel is in a great position and has the potential to be a good family hotel but there is a lot of work and commitment required by management before it will be rated a descent resort hotel."
Prima Vista Boutique Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"Prima Vista is a gem of a hotel close to the colorful village of Sivota. The views and sunsets from our terrace were spectacular. The sea is emerald green and turquoise, warm and spotlessly clean. We swam for hours every day. The staff and the lady who owns the hotel were extremely kind and helpful, guests can completely rely on them. The food in the hotel restaurant is really good, we mostly ate fresh fish. Since it is located 10 minutes away from Sivota, the hotel is in a tranquil, verdant setting. I highly recommend the Prima Vista hotel for a beautiful and relaxing vacation. We wish we could have stayed longer than two and half weeks. "

"Every single thing was perfect—from the friendly staff and the beautiful room to the pool. Everything was spotless, and the sea was absolutely stunning."
Mövenpick Resort Agios Nikolaos Sivota
"Our stay at this hotel was wonderful from beginning to end. The location is simply unbeatable, it sits right on the most beautiful beach and bay in Syvota, with stunning views everywhere you look. We stayed in a spacious family room with two balconies overlooking the sea, which made every morning and evening special. What made the biggest difference, though, was the incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, Milica at the reception welcomed us so warmly that it honestly felt like we were visiting a family member rather than checking into a hotel. Throughout our stay, she was always there to help with anything we needed, offering great recommendations and making sure everything was perfect. She truly made our experience even more enjoyable. In fact, every member of the staff was kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful. You could really feel that they cared about their guests. We would happily return to this hotel and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in one of the most beautiful spots in Syvota."

"So this is the place we stayed at just 10 minutes from Igmounitsa port. We are staying for 3 days but wish we had longer but it’s on to Athens (and patisia) tomorrow. I saw this place at the beginning of the year whe I started planning and it was still available when we booked at the beginning of October and as far as I’m aware is open all year round. We paid £130 but upgraded when we got here to a lovely studio for and extra €20 per night. The owners came on Sunday and were very gracious and Giorgos the gardener/maintenance guy was very nice and extremely helpful. He is here all the time as the owners live an hour away. Each set of studios has their own pool and I just can’t say enough about the place. The locals are friendly, the tavernas are plentiful and excellent with both food and prices and there’s a lovely beach which our dog loved"

"Our holidays goes very well in this hotel. They have good rooms and they clean every day. The staff is very polite and can help for everything . The food is very good . They have 2 pools for adults and children and a bar near them to serve you. The sea have fresh and very clear water and you can enjoyed it. Sugest boat trip and going to syvota and parga in dinner for walking and having some ice cream. And there is some games for children and adults . There is a man who plays with children and learn them interesting things. Reccomended."

"We are waiting for the internet at room 16. We are not from jungle or desert so you can lie to us and tell us that you’ll talk to the technician. So to that girl at the reception who acts like she doesn’t understand english and thinks we are ******, please fix the internet (the way how it’s not my concern) or change us the room!"
