My son & I stayed at Super 8 at the Dalles, Oregon from August 10-11, front office was friendly & helpful. I requested a room on the ground floor, because I am over 65, I got one close to the exit. The room was clean, we got a good night sleep, we had no problem.

It’s and old building that’s sort of been kept up. My room had little ants everywhere coming in under the heating/ cooling device.

Rooms were clean and rates were low, but security concerns, poor hot water and pillows half the width of standard pillows will ensure that I register earlier at other motels in futire.

Room was missing light bulb in end table fixture, no response from front desk when making calls, finally got a bulb an hour after reporting it as front desk staff were nowhere to be found. Not impressed with the breakfast offering. Waffle batter dispenser was non operational and no attendant available to assist. Waffles and toast were only hot food options, no egg or meat offerings.

Not worth it
Not impressed. Grungy, unsavory surroundings. Aloof staff, crappy pool area. Many broken, chipped, discolored items in the room. Surprised this was a Wyndham hotel.

The young lady working the counter was amazing (working by herself too)
there was food left out from the previous morning breakfast, elevators were nasty, our ice bucket still had water in it.

Difficult parking for our truck and trailer but we make it work. Breakfast is minimal but filling. Rooms are comfortable and staff is great! Our go to for return trips from Boise.
