We came as a group in early September and booked ten rooms. The rooms are small, but comfortable. The mattress was good, but the pillows were too soft and "lumpy". Our room (45) unfortunately had drapes that were too small and didn't operate properly - the sheers were stuck and would not retract, the drapes themselves were too small to cover the entire window and wouldn't meet in the middle. Breakfast was "okay", not great. Big turnoff was when the staff member brought pre-made omelettes out of the kitchen and loaded them into the heating trays with her bare hands. View of the river from your room is great, but the driveway to the motel is rough. The price was exceptional, especially in this day and age of $200-300 rooms.

Clean, comfortable and not very noisy at all. I was concerned that the trains would be a problem, but they weren’t. It is close to downtown and I really can’t have any criticisms of it.

This hotel sits high on a cliff overlooking the Columbia River. I stay here at least once a year. It is the best for small hotels and friendly staff.

Had a lovely stay when I was in town for work. Just a short drive from their downtown, It sits along a very small road just near the outskirts of town. Rooms were clean and serviced daily, staff was very welcoming and friendly. Definitely will stay there again when working in the area.

The area around the inn is seedy at best. The. View of the dam spectacular. Breakfast not appetizing. Pool

This is an old-fashioned motor hotel with a fantastic view of the Columbia Ri!ver and the Dalles Dam. Each room is large and has a great view

Room was small, but adequate.. Hotel a little dated and pool was filthy. Other than this, hotel was nice. View was wonderful!

Such a lovely little place! The staff were exceptional and we greatly enjoyed the patio music And breakfast the next morning! Would definitely stay again!

An aging motel in an out-of-the-way location that's unwalkable to almost anything. The rooms and baths have been recently updated and are nicely appointed.The rooms, however, are quite small. The pool appeared to have green water with trash floating in it. Still, this works for a fast night's sleep in the middle of a road trip.
