Hotel San Roque ★★★★

"This hotel is incredible - the staff are wonderful, the common areas are lovely, and the location is so central. There are lots of types of relaxing locations - sun deck at top of hotel, loungers by the pool, central sitting area, library reading room. It choice is great for finding the perfect location."

"Karin and Sergio are amazing and have created a very special place to enjoy hiking in Teno. Karin and Sergio have great recommendations, offer a heart breakfast, and offer packed picnic lunches for all-day hikers—the lunch Karin packed me was a lifesaver, since I arrived after shops closed and was leaving before they were open. I only stayed one night, but the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The terrace is also a real jewel. I really hope to be back soon!"

📍 Av. Sibora, 10, Los Silos

"We’ve stayed here twice now and it is just excellent. My wife and I are golfers and the nearby Buenavista course, designed by Seve, is fabulous on a stunning location 10 minutes from the hotel in Los Silos. There were quite a few hikers staying also. Warm and amusing reception from Alonso. This time we stayed half board for four nights which included a three course meal each evening. The food is good and the service is top notch. The staff are the happiest bunch I’ve seen in a long time - which says a lot for the management of the hotel. Our room was comfortable as was the bed. Great swimming pool which my wife did her laps in each morning. I hope we get back. Ray Stewart"

Hotel Hacienda del Conde Melia Collection Golf & Spa – Adults Only

Hotel Hacienda del Conde Melia Collection Golf & Spa – Adults Only ★★★★★

📍 C. La Finca, Buenavista del Norte

"SECOND EXCELLENT STAY! We recently stayed at Hacienda del Conde (for the second time this year) and our stay was simply excellent. It was very nice to see familiar faces and we genuinely felt welcome (back!). Sandro was very welcoming and helpful and he gave us some great restaurant recommendations on the island! The staff went the extra mile to give us the same suite as the one we had in May (Room 605). The food at the restaurant was fantastic! The hotel is truly well managed and Naiara Gomez Bermejo (General Manager) does an excellent job! Congratulations! Hacienda del Conde is our one and only choice in Tenerife! We will be back in April next year!"

"Very clean, well equipped and very comfortable, we have been very comfortable, very quiet, it is perfect to disconnect, it is well located. We will surely return to put a stop, but we would have liked to take our pet."

Hotel LIVVO La Quinta Roja ★★★★

📍 Gta. San Francisco, s/n, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Garachico

"This is a perfect spot to spend a relaxing holiday. The hotel is extremely well run, with all staff cheerful and efficient nothing was too much trouble. The roof terrace is great for catching the sun with lovely views over to the sea. Restaurant which is around the pool offers good food, I think if you ate there every night the menu could become boring, salad at lunch time would be a great addition. Everywhere close by, the sea and promenade about 5 minutes walk away as are bars and restaurants. Well worth a visit we hope to return."

Isla Baja Suites ★★★★

📍 Esteban de Ponte, 3-5, Garachico

"We stayed in room 6 the Attic which is very large and spacious, more an apartment than a hotel room. It was well furnished, comfortable and enjoyable to stay in for a few days. The building is a restored and preserved original Canarian wood mansion and its great that these buildings are being preserved and used. Where else will you find 14 inch wide floorboards. The wooden ceilings in other rooms are amazing. Having said all that there are downsides. The hotel being only 6 rooms is not staffed by management daily, there are cleaners and laundry personnel on site but management seems to be remote. Breakfast is supplied by a separate business running a patisserie in the alcove during the day, It's ok, varied but nothing special. Our room was spacious and comfortable but being Sea View was exposed to the road noise which you have to accept, it's not too bad but don't expect silence, there's a music school next door too. The room really needs a very good clean, every chrome surface from the kettle to the shower needs descaling and polishing. After 2 days we noticed an infestation of ( we were told ) wood eating moths. We could see the eggs in piles on the floor in several areas. The management were not very forthcoming about the exact species causing the the problem despite being aware. We hope we didn't bring home any eggs in our luggage. Our concerns about this were dismissed and the owner was not transparent about the issue. Garachico is a lovely place to visit for a few days."

"Boutique hotel. Lovely rooms. Daily cleaning and towel changes. It has a super roof terrace overlooking the sea. The owner and staff were very helpful. Stayed here for 6 nights. It's a small hotel. I think 14 rooms but owner managed. Breakfast more than adequate."

Hotel San Roque ★★★★
"San Roque deserves its 5-star rating! Set in a traditional small Canarian town, it’s a part of the local history and tradition. The beautiful building is impeccably kept, the rooms, pool area, patio, terrace, fabulous restaurant, etc. all provide a peaceful ambience for its guests. But the best part is the attention and services of its staff. Dominic, Lucy, Maria and Manolo were stand-outs! Friendly and helpful, there was always someone on hand to assist, be it for ordering a drink, carrying luggage, giving travel advice. We were even provided a coffee and picnic breakfast for our 4:30 am check-out! San Roque was a fantastic experience and the best part of our holiday in Tenerife!"

"We stayed here for a week and used it as a base for exploring the north east of Tenerife, the room was lovely and the whole place was clean and quiet. The host Karin was kind and welcoming and I would stay here again. We went on 4 guided walks with Sergio which were all varied and well worth doing to see this diverse area at its best"

Hotel Hacienda del Conde Melia Collection Golf & Spa – Adults Only ★★★★★
"We came for 2 weeks at this beautiful hotel. The views are stunning from the hotel . The staff here are fantastic and so helpful. Paolo we dealt with mostly and he was brilliant. Nothing is too much of a problem. I will list the pro and a small amount of cons Pro’s Heated outdoor swimming pool which is fresh water so you don’t smell of chlorine. Also the sun beds are comfortable and all have umbrellas. Hotel rooms are spacious with big balconies. The beds are big and comfortable. Tea, coffee making facilities and free bottle of water everyday. Really high quality amenities like razors, toothbrushes, shower gel etc. massive deep baths Bath robes and slippers Free yoga, meditation and stretch classes every day. Spa facilities which you have to pay for Fantastic breakfast, loads of variety and freshly squeezed orange juices and smoothies. Free fruit, cake, biscuits, tea, coffee etc until 6pm every day Just a few cons. We ate in their restaurant once and for the price we thought it wasn’t worth it. The food was average. We didn’t eat in their restaurant buffet but we knew people who did and they said it was ok to good The spa is expensive but that is in most good hotels. The evening entertainment was a bit boring for us. It was mostly jazz and it was the same the second week as the first. As the hotel is far away from anywhere really it would be better to have a better entertainment. You definitely need a car and if you go in October like we did be prepared for a lot of the restaurants to be closed for their holidays so if you don’t eat at the restaurant every day then you need to drive to get to get to them. All in all a fantastic holiday and we will be back"

Coral Los Silos - Your Natural Accommodation Choice ★★★★
"Very noisy; there was a metal grate covering the street that rattled all night every time cars passed. The cleaning was very superficial. The sofa was small and uncomfortable. One of the bedroom doors wouldn't close. There was a strong smell of tobacco. The room didn't have a terrace, even though the booking photos showed one. It was completely disappointing. I'm complaining."

Hotel LIVVO La Quinta Roja ★★★★
"A very atmospheric hotel at the square in the center of a small, quiet town. The seventeenth-century building offers cosy rooms equiped with modern devices. Large, comfortable and clean beds. Spacious bathroom. The interiors are striking with the glitz from centuries ago. Direct access to a restaurant offering delicious and often innovative and surprising dishes. The lack of a lift is not compensated by the baggage service. For people with limited physical abilities, rooms on the ground floor would be better. Other than - great."

Isla Baja Suites ★★★★
"Our stay at Isla Baja Suites in Garachico in November 2025 was everything we hoped for—and more. Garachico is an absolutely gorgeous town, rich in history and charm, and the hotel’s location next to the natural volcanic pools makes it truly special. There’s a sense of calm and authenticity here that’s increasingly rare. The suites are elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully curated—comfortable without feeling overdone. Breakfast was fresh, light, and beautifully prepared, setting the tone for slow, relaxed mornings. What made the experience truly memorable was Laura Bier, the host. She is warm, attentive, and deeply human—our conversations with her were heartfelt and meaningful, making us feel less like guests and more like returning friends. We stayed for three nights, and it felt like a genuine reset from London life. Isla Baja Suites is not just a place to stay—it’s a place to breathe. We already look forward to coming back."

Gara Hotel ★★★★
"This hotel has a huge place in my heart. It’s a simple but beautiful Canarian building, with lovely wooden features and beautiful tiled floors. It’s very simple - we stayed in room 10 with a sea view. Very basic but extremely clean and tidy. The best thing was the shared terrace overlooking the lagoons and the sea. I don’t remember staying anywhere better for watching the ocean. Miguel and his team were very kind. Not luxury but simple beauty. Thank you. With luck on my health we may be back."

Hotel El Patio ★★★★
"We stayed in Balcon el Patio which was a a lovely villa about 800 m from hotel. It is private and quiet but we all would have preferred to stay in the hotel which is full of character with lovely seating areas and nice pool and such an easy relaxed atmosphere. Taxi service is very good to the town of Garachico which has lots of lovely restaurants. Watching and learning about the bananas was fun. make sure if you go you take the long road from south airport. The drive over the mountains is very scary."
