Sonesta Select Tempe Downtown

Fantastic personnel and management were completely rude. They were already in our room we can complain within 5 minutes of us checking in and barely gave us a chance to unpack our bags before they were on top of us complaining. They also give us a problem with that our Caribbean parked in the parking lot even though the hotel states that if we pay the $15 we're allowed to park there which we did and for no reason at all they were just about to extender reservation until management at the last second walked up to the front desk and gave us no reason that we were unable to renew. We will be speaking to a higher up about this but I would not recommend this hotel

ANTS, HORRIBLE STAFF AND UNRESPONSIVE MANAGEMENT. Absolutely the worst experience I've had in years with a hotel. Trying to check in an hour early we were told that Not only was the room available but they want to charge us more. As others have mentioned by the way there's an undisclosed charge for parking in an open air parking lot but we couldn't even park there without paying extra and got told we couldn't pre-check in. That's just for starters- Look at the pictures of the bathroom. But to top it all off I woke up early the next morning to a few ants in the bed biting me... Wth... And then discovered an entire blanket of them on the dresser in the room. I will attach pictures and when I brought this to the person's attention she said "oh my oh dear oh that's horrible I'll send maintenance to go exterminate them right away" . When I ask for a manager I was told they're gone till Monday but they would make make sure they called me. I didn't receive a call in fact I NEVER received a call. I then called again later the next week. ... and left a message for the manager and still didn't receive a call. Nada zip I've reported them to the health department. .... so if you want to stay here do so at your own risk and look at the pictures of what you're going to stay at.
