I don’t know where to start. The short of it is my family and I only stayed one night and instead moved to an Airbnb down the beach. The location has a lot of potential but they’re nowhere close to achieving it. The management is dishonest and won’t print out a copy of the early checkout.

Beach is horrible. Food is mediocre. Service was good. Amenities are soso. Massage better in town. Pool was great. Remember this is a review from a day trip experience. Too far to go for 3 hours. Drinks were great. Can't comment on hotel itself. Fancy Entrance.

The property could be very special but, looks like the owners have not done any renovations for years. No access to the beach because of erosion. The rooms lacked decor. The buffet was undesirable. Cold food and lack of choices. The staff was wonderful though. Very friendly.

The beach is practically inaccesible, stairs go down right to the water, no beach to walk/stay, the room had the bathroom door loose on the top so you needed to push it up in order to close it, for my 7 year old daughter this was impossible because of the door weight, so she needed help everytime she needed to use the restroom, buildings are old and need maintenance, but all in all it was a good place, at nights, it is so calm that you can enjoy the sea sound and moonlight like no other place in crowded hotel áreas. Food was ok, but service was slow, and not a lot of options to choose from.

Completely met our expectations!! If you are looking for American version of 5 star you will be disappointed, but if you are looking for a low key place to completely relax and the friendliness staff ever, this is it. I met my husband in Merida after his fishing trip in Campeche and we took a $50 taxi to get there. *Only all inclusive within 45 min of Mérida * Try and book when a cruise ship excursion is NOT visiting (contact the resort- it was Tuesdays and Thursdays when we were there and we stayed Friday- Tuesday AM) *Mathia , the dining captain, was awesome and took care of us. He made sure we had coffee and pastries early on the day we left and had box lunches packed for us! He’s special- get to know him. *The front desk staff were friendly and responsive * This not a “lay on the beach” kind of beach, but the seashells are amazing and you can walk a very long way when the tide is out! There are areas w sand and lounge chairs close to ocean on the property. *The pool was very clean * We had a morning with no hot water but it was fixed very quickly * No gym. We played tennis instead. (Bring your own tennis rackets and balls - they have them but they are tired. ) * Very few Americans! Mostly Mexican families -loved that. *Food was ample and very good and changed enough for a long weekend. *There is only one dining room but there is an option to eat at pool bar during the day *Drinks are weak but they are happy to pour doubles!! * 10 min cab ride to a restaurant nearby. Front desk can recommend. *You can also get to Progresso easily for an outing. We ran out of time. *Don’t let the remote bumpy dirt road near the resort scare you—there really is this beautiful lobby and beautiful people waiting for you!! WE HOPE TO RETURN!!!

It was ok. Nice ocean views that what I book with you…. but needs a lot of attention like cleaning maintenance and the enter to the property is to bad a lot of holes to get in to the property. At least make a drive way. Food was ok. But coffee on a foam cup?? Really?? Drinks really bad.

Overall I rate this property low due to the lack of cleanliness, attention from staff, and accountability. We stayed longer due to family and activities we wanted to do in the area but even before arrival to the property the front desk never picked up thier phone. We even arrived and called the front desk and noticed that the receptionist was ignoring incoming calls. Also, beware of the lack of cleanliness within the rooms. After being checked in we proceeded to our room to find a large spider with web all over the room. I did address this with the front but I was met with push back instead of moving me to a clean room. After back and forth I was able to move to a different room. Within this room I found a bed bug and cockroach, mind you it was my finally day so no further room change was made. Also, when speaking to the front desk very little was done to take accountability and provide excellent customer service without having to push for the hotel to address my needs. I believe this hotel is not a good option and you should spend your money elsewhere, where you matter to the hotel.
