InterContinental Hotels Tegucigalpa at Multiplaza Mall

This is my fourth visit to the Intercontinental Tegucigalpa in the past 15 months. As in the past, this stay, which was between 2 and 14 September was wonderful. From the moment a guest enters the hotel, they feel welcome and safe. The reception staff is exceptional. They are pleasant, friendly, professional and readily available to provide advice and assistance. I want to especially commend Fabiana, Alejandra, Katherine, Pamela, Anthony, Claudia and Miguel. The staff in the Market restaurant are equally outstanding. I know I will forget unintentionally a few names, but would like to commend Guillermo, Julia, Estefany, Eduardo, Karen and Silvia for their always pleasant, thoughtful and helpful service. I also want to especially mention Julia, who makes fantastic baleadas. I have been told by Honduran friends that her baleadas are among the best in Tegucigalpa. Although the food in the Market restaurant is generally very good, I would like to recommend that the restaurant have a lunch or dinner buffet on a regular basis, perhaps once every two weeks, which focuses on serving just Honduran food specialties, such as anafre, tapado, grilled meats, pupusas, baleadas, etc. That will add a very authentically Honduran elegant touch to the restaurant's cuisine. The hotel rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. The maid and laundry service are also wonderful. My one additional request relates to the pool/patio area-- which is very nice. However, the loud music played beginning in the middle of the day and until the evening significantly detracts from guests' ability to enjoy swimming at the pool or lounging on the patio. I hope you can find a way to lower the music during the day and provide more time for guests to enjoy and relax at the pool and patio in greater peace. I very much look forward to staying again at this lovely hotel.

Excellent attention in the 9th Floor by Dennis Ramirez. The food was good, fresh fruit and overall everything was very great.

Denis is the best! He is so sweet and funny. I would definitely come back just because of Denis. The food was good and the space is pretty.
