The Dream Beach Resort ★★★★

"To the entrance. I actually wanted to give this 3 stars. For the way the owner treated me and responded, I'll add 2 photos if the owner asks nicely. :D The villas are great when they're maintained. The view, especially from the lower villa with private pool, is really wonderful. Unfortunately, we were apparently extremely unlucky if you look at the other reviews. Our villa smelled extremely of mold. The manager confirmed this several times, after I was unfortunately also repeatedly told that the other customers were satisfied. There is only one chair on the terrace and a kind of hanging swing as a second one. The cushion that was on the chair was so dirty that I had to go back up to reception. When I was bathing in the villa pool, my knee was pulled into the suction so hard that my wife heard the bang. The door from the shower to the pool is difficult to open. I asked for the air conditioning to be disinfected due to a lack of staff and know-how, to no avail. We later discovered that the smell was coming from the room/roof. I also asked for a cover for the suction in the pool. The only thing that was turned off was the corresponding pump. We then changed villas. Up until this point we were still quite happy and ready to go along with it. It smelled great, everything seemed great. In the new villa, the first thing we came across was a dirty, holey cover that was lying in the swing. OK, anything can happen. When I first reached into the fridge/minibar, the contents came out. A foot was apparently missing from the fridge. The feet could not be adjusted. I then put my smartphone on the bedside table and a stone fell out of it. Apparently someone had jammed the stone into the hinge because the cupboard was completely warped. The next day, we were asked if housekeeping should come. We said yes. We were out for a few hours. When we came back, absolutely nothing had happened. On top of that, the toilet flush was no longer working. We were then accused of the following: We had arrived too early, which is why the first villa was in that condition. (I said right beforehand, take your time, we are on vacation) Then that the mold smell did not exist, others would be happy. We also wanted to change villas, which is why this one was also in a bad condition. Here too, we had given everyone time and did not rush at any point. According to management, the crooked cupboard and the toilet flush were also our fault. We are extremely patient, but that was enough. I called Booking and asked what I could do. We decided, together with Booking, to arrive a night earlier. We were at the reception more often in 2 days than in the villa. We would get a refund for the night. So far, I have not received a refund. Booking has granted me 15% compensation. At around €200/night, that is"

"We had a wonderful stay on Flower Island. The staff were so kind 🥰 and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The white sandy beach 🏖️ with the clear seawater was perfect! The sunset was best enjoyed from the Inviniti pool, which is located right in front of the inviting beach bar. Tip: Have a margarita 🍹. The trip to the nearby pearl farm 🦪 was absolutely amazing and impressive. Thank you so much for everything, and maybe another time 🙏 Benjamin & Melanie 😘"
