"Free breakfast was a treat! Our room had the discomfort of neighbors next door. They turned on the television and the snoring started after the tv was turned off, lasting for quite awhile. Annoying as we had to wake up rather early next day. The sound proofing of the room was not good at all, another neighbor hit the walls in the morning to make others be more quiet. We didn’t use any amenities, so no reviews possible. The location in Tavira is excellent, one can walk easily anywhere around without loosing lots of time!"

"I had a reservation for one adult and two children. When I arrived at reception, it was listed as a two-person reservation. They immediately resolved the issue, but the room only had two beds, and they didn't resolve the issue. When I arrived for breakfast, my reservation wasn't listed, and we had trouble getting in. The room's air conditioning wasn't working. Terrible check-in information. They didn't even inform you about the Wi-Fi, breakfast hours, or the restaurant's location. Excessive wait times for check-in or check-out, lines to get to breakfast, and no pool loungers available."

"The hotel itself is stunning and restaurant Mirsal is imho one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants in the (East) Algarve. The restaurant staff is well trained and very friendly, However we expected a bit more based on the photos we had seen and their ambition to acquir a Michelin star; they are far from that level. Normally they offter menus for € 29, but since it was Easter there was another menu instead. They were very attentive to our food allergies, which we appreciated. However for the first course a mistake was made, so one dish stayed at the table while the other one was (p)repaired. One of the main reasons we dine out is to enjoy something I am not able to prepare at home, The ingredients are of high quality, but the presentation was very dull amd a small piece of robalo with mashed potatos 3 asparagusand NO sauce did not feel worth € 32. Even the dessert didn’t look as it normally did. Perhaps the regular chef was also off celebrating Easter?"

"It was a weekend run with my daughter, we stayed in a studio, the beds were comfortable, but it was seen that the facilities have a good year. The kitchen had the basics needed, but I found missing some individuals or towels to put on the tables.The staff were very nice.We made some meals in the Nora Bar, near the pool, we recommend pizzas and salads. It is an excellent village for anyone who wants a beach and pool, and also have the possibility of making your own meals without leaving the site, and is a few meters away from the tourist train that travels to the beach of Barril. It has a good price-quality relationship."

"A beautiful, unique, five-room lodging in rural Tavira. We stayed in the "Almond" room - much more than a room, though, with a living area, in-door and out-door showers - and, wow, what a great private courtyard. The included breakfast was deliscious. The staff was amazingy friendly and accomadating. We oredered food from the pool menu a few times - made to order! Thanks, Hospedaria, for making our Spain and Portugal trip memorable. "

"We enjoyed our recent stay and really liked most things about the hotel. Good things - comfy bed, quality sheets and towels, hot strong shower, very good air con, great location within easy walk of the centre, Pingo supermarket, bars and restaurants & local railway station; friendly staff, generous tasty breakfast, blackout curtains, cleanliness, rooftop terrace, fairly good wifi, fridge and safe in room, quirky decor in foyer, fast response to emails. Niggles - v noisy neighbours above on 3 nights (outside hotel's control), noise from traffic right outside during the day (hotel being on a small but busy crossroads), only 4 coat hangers in the wardrobe to share between two people. We would return and thought it was good value."
