The worst experience in NZ! Dirty, impolite and bias! Kitchen and bathroom are the places you found the same as nightmare.

It is indeed an older MOTEL, but in fact, it is similar to the local ones. The advantage is that the location is very good. It is right by the lake. In the morning, you can see the beautiful scenery of the lake and see the ducks. The service is really hard to say enough. On the day of arrival, around 1 o'clock, I went to the old lady at the front desk and asked to check in. She was rejected without saying anything. The reason was that she felt unwell and had to get off work, so she asked me to go to the front desk of the hotel next door if I had something to do. I asked if there is a room available now? If two elderly people and one child could be given a room to rest first, they would directly refuse and say that there is no room available at the moment. Come back after 3 o'clock and I have to go home from get off work! I was angry but had no choice but to go to the hotel next door. The same problem was reported. The hotel was immediately shocked and apologized, saying how could an old lady treat a customer like this? They immediately gave me a room and upgraded it to a lake view room. It rained heavily the next day and I couldn't go there. It was best to stay in the room and watch the lake view and feed the ducks.

Lake Taupo, perfect scenery

There was a heated pool so I had a great time staying warm. It was close to the lake, so the view was nice, and there was a supermarket nearby, so shopping was easy. It was good

It's so old, it feels like it's from the 1960s. The heated swimming pool at the door is ok

The location is very good, on the edge of the lake, Lake Taupo is just outside the door. Breakfast can be eaten at the hotel next door for 30 knives.
