On the first day, I had to wait until 5 o'clock before I could check in. The entire hotel covers a large area and the lobby is very bright.
The service is really hard to say. The service staff who cleaned the room didn't seem to understand English very well. There was only coffee on the first day of check-in, and the price was more expensive for 3 people than for 2 people, but only two coffees were given. After cleaning the room, I didn't get coffee either. I had to go to the front desk to ask for it. I stayed for 6 days and asked for coffee 3 times at the front desk 😰.
There is no kettle or tea.
There is a small business district around the hotel, with a small supermarket, a pharmacy, and a coffee lunch shop in the business district.
There is a magnolia tree at the door, which is very beautiful!

Mon, Jul 21 at 4:31 PM My stay at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel was disappointing and unsettling. The odor and smell in the hallways was revolting; the overflowing trash and dirty linens were quite off putting; and the men's underwear littering the side door was offensive .Although the sheets were clean on the beds, the sweat smell from the pillows was awful and disgusting. The bed skirts do not feel clean. For the cost, this was not acceptable. This hotel is dated and visually unappealing. I will never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful grounds, nice amenities and delicious Shabbos food! We had a very enjoyable stay. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. They really want everyone to enjoy their stay.

Was very excited to arrive in tarrytown for the weekend. Check in with the young man at the desk was poor. Was not very helpful or informative chalked it up to a bad day. Place was full of kids running around in the lobby with no parents to be found. One child was actually sleeping on the couch in lobby. Event going on some type of Jewish wedding? That was what was happening all weekend. Terrible but they ran the show there. No restaurant due to the ‘events’. NO working phone in the room to call the desk. When you call from cell phone no one answers. They don’t answer phones, texts or emails. Horrible customer service. Positive note: Gregory at the front desk helped us multiple times, he was wonderful and housekeeping was great. Would not go again or recommend

This was a huge disappointment. My friend and I booked a room expecting two quiet evenings after long days. Instead, we were greeted by multiple groups of children, running up and down the halls with apparently no supervision from their parents. It turns out it was a huge event that had been scheduled for the weekend and everything seemed to be geared toward making them happy. to start with the elevator near our room did not operate so we ended up having to carry up our bags. No one offered to send anyone to carry them up although we later saw members of the event being helped with their luggage We were missing items in our room - a second face cloth and hand towel. But to be fair, we got three bath towels. The telephone didn’t work, and whether breakfast was included wasi unclear and difficult to find in any case. The hotel advertised dinner at the hotel and we were looking forward to that after a long day of driving, and we were told that the restaurants were closed due to this event. The front desk staff were not pleasant and seemed put out that we asked for things. The only thing I can say positively about this hotel is that it is a half a mile from the highway.

This "hotel" is a scam! When we arrived in the evening the restaurant and bar were closed even though we had asked if they would be open. The room was disgusting and smelled like cigarette smoke. The hotel looks nothing like the website....its a bait and switch! When we complained about the stinky room the next morning they said they would give us a discount on the room and went in their system and pretended to do it... later when we checked our credit card nothing had been done! Also when we had tried to reach someone about the stinky room no one answers the phone... in fact there is only one employee to do everything! Shameful! Buyer beware

Restaurant was closed and your exoected to look up the Restaurant yourself to make aure its open. The carpeta were gross.. the toilet didnt flush when i got there. The receotion manager was very dismissive. Ill never go back.
